Stayed here for a snowboarding holiday with my boyfriend in early January. The lodge is run by a family which is quite nice. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly lady who showed us around and even insisted on helping us carry our luggage to our room! Room is small, but expected in Japan. Bathroom is veeeery small,...

We stayed here from 24 Dec-2 Jan. For the price charged, this little lodge has all that we were hoping to get and more. Hide-san and his family were very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. The lodge is in a perfect location just off the main Upper Hirafu street, and right across from Raku Izakaya. Right in the heart...

Located in the middle of the Upper Hirafu village, Lodge Koropokkuru is a 10 min walk from the Hirafu Welcome Centre. We stayed in a triple sharing futon room with Ensuite bathroom. There are some rooms with normal beds and communal showers and toilets. So you've gotta request for the one u want. The futons are comfy and the blankets...

Recently stayed at the lodge and it was fantastic!! Its obviously a very family orientated business and you instantly feel welcome when you walk through the door. Breakfast was great which was coffee, juice, toast, assorted pastries, scrambled eggs, wedges and traditional Japanese elements and the rooms were well set out. I stayed with two friends on a ski trip...

The lodge is pretty awesome, it had public baths which are soooo nice to relax in after a day on the slopes. and there are coin operated foot/leg massage machines. There are also vending machines, a laundry, a wet room to store your boards and it includes...

We have visited Niseko many winters and stayed in Hirafu side for the last couple of visits. This lodge has been probably the nicest around. The location is unbeatable near the lifts and restaurants. The facilities are extremely clean. The breakfast is ok with both Japanese and Western choices. We stayed three weeks in the lodge and we had a...

The 1st floor room had a view up the mountain the basement room had a view of a snowbank. The family that run the...

“try NOT to sleep on 1st floor by front desk. The common area is there and can be loud at night up until about 11pm. If you aren't a late night person and need extra sleep to hit the hill the next day, this could be frustrating.”

“Book a room with ensuite bathroom if you do not like shared bathrooms and toilets. I stayed in a room for 4 person and it's directly infront of the stairs, a little noisy when a big group of young school kids came to stay.”
