The staff are nice and helpful speak great English compared to many other places in Japan.

Miwa-san hospitality was warm. He able to give recommendations on what to do and when to go at niseko. Nearby to gondola station. Breakfast was nice. Love the tatami style room. Clean environment. Also nearby to eatery shops and hotspring area.

Pension Berg was excellent, with accommodation very close to the ski lift.

Perhaps you already traveled here but you catch the train to Kutchan and then catch the shuttle bus or local bus from there. Do not go to Hirafu or Niseko station. It's harder to access from there. Other than that catch a... More

Other than that catch a bus from Sapporo and get off at Hirafu Welcome Centre. Pension Berg is couple hundred metres down the hill
