I stayed during period of X’mas then the price for everything;food ,accommodation etc. is high and crowded. This accommodation is in the center, not far from shop and around with restaurant however it’s in a quiet places. There are bus stop to go to Grand Hirafu Gondola, it’s easy to take free shuttle bus to ski. Good cleaning ,no amenities just towels and bathroom stuff(shampoo, condition and shower cream) I got 3 bedrooms for 4 person so it’s quite too big for us but there is not much choice to rent the accommodation in peak period. Good kitchen and living room /dining area. It’s comfortable to stay long.

Niseko is a must see for the avid skiers and snow boarders. The six days we were there it snowed ever day and added two feet to the season tally. Easy to access friendly, safe and well appointed village. Although it has lost some of its Japanese authenticity over the years it is still a resort to place on the bucket list. Huge amounts of terrain to suit every snow bunny and a great deal of back country to escape the crowds. The food is probably one of the biggest draw cards. The best places to eat are deep into the village away from the main strip. You will find the local haunts that provide genuine cuisine that is A1. We stayed at Shinsetsu apartments managed by Andy at Hokkaido Travel. He looked after us exceptionally well with all the local intel. The apartment accommodates 6 in three bedrooms with two bathrooms large kitchen and dining area. Only a 5 minute walk from the ace family chair lift.

We were a group of 8 friends travelling to Niseko together. First of all, Holiday Niseko were absolutely fantastic in every regard. In initial communications they were extremely patient and attentive to our potential needs. They were extremely quick in responding to any questions, updates or requests. Even special requests - like having some champagne and sake ready and chilled for our arrival - were never too much for them to assist with. The actual apartment was perfect for us. We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom apartments. The sleeping arrangements were perfect (we were 2 couples and 4 single girls), as one of the bedrooms was very sizeable and comfortably fit the 4 single girls, whilst the couples were well served by the smaller double rooms (although they can easily reconfigure the rooms according to your preference). The living room was a lot bigger than we were expecting, especially for Japan, and was a great space for all of us to relax and enjoy a drink or a nap between skiing and heading out for dinner. The kitchen was also an excellent size and was well equipped with cooking utensils, pots, pans, crockery, glasses and mugs. The location was superb - just a 5-minute walk to the Ace Family lift, and really close to the central junction with the Seicomart and Holiday Niseko offices. Everything was clean, modern and comfortable, and the towels were constantly replenished. There is also a spacious boot / drying room in the basement of the apartment block, which was particularly handy considering how much snow we had! I can highly recommend Shinsetsu and Holiday Niseko to you. We had an amazing time during our 7-night stay.

We stayed at Shinsetsu Apartments for 3 days recently and loved how conveniently located it was. We could easily walk out to the main Hirafu village area for food, onsens, and other entertainment. The rooms were nice and spacious, the beds comfortable, washrooms well outfitted, and the dry room downstairs was a wicked amenity. Love that the place came with Apple TV and Netflix too. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Shinsetsu Apartment 2 during Feb with 3 couples. I was so surprised to see how big the rooms and whole house was! Really nice to come home after a day of boarding and you can just relax! Only downside was that in the main bedroom was the hot water system in the wardrobe which let of a lot of heat and made lots of noises during the night, but nothing major! Well equipped kitchen with everything you needed for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Location id awesome just down the street opposite seciomart -very convenient. We would defiantly recommend and stay again!

We stayed in the Shinsetsu 1 apartment. The place was very well appointed and had everything we could need. The location was also very convenient, being just one street over from the main restaurant street and very close to Seico Mart. It was easy to get to the various bus pickup points and was a manageable walk down to the Ace Family lift as an entry point onto the mountain lift system. It was also a manageable walk to the public onsen further down in the lower village, although the location meant a somewhat roundabout route. Some reviewers have commented on a smell from some Shinsetsu bathrooms. Our experience was that there was a slight sulphur smell (natural from the water) in the upstairs bathroom, but leaving the ventilation on max (it was silent) largely made this problem non-existent. The ventilation control had no English to say what it was, so just understand it is ventilation and not aircon and you'll be fine. In all honesty, we barely noticed the smell the whole time we were there and it certainly wouldn't stop us from staying there again. The drying room sometimes had quite a lot of gear in it, but there was always room for our stuff. We didn't try the washing/drying machines, but these appeared to be in good working order. If the weather happens to be less than snowy as was the case for us (we got the one rainy day of the season :( ), the street Shinsetsu is on can be very icy and not recommended for walking down (it is not a heated street). If you are unlucky enough to be there for such conditions, pick up a pair of grip foot over-shoe spikes from nearby Rhythm Sports for not much money and you'll be much happier (half the village was wearing them when we were there). We booked the apartments through Holiday Niseko and they were exceedingly helpful during our time there and went beyond what we could have expected more than once. From being flexible with bus pickup arrangements after delayed connections through to organising the transport of our gear to our next snow destination when we left, they were always ready to assist. They were also very helpful answering multiple queries leading up to our trip. I'd definitely recommend booking through Holiday Niseko and would also recommend Shinsetsu Apartments as a place to stay.

We stayed in a two bed, two bath apartment for five nights in Shinshetsu Apartments in the Hirafu village. The location is excellent, on a residential street so it's nice and quiet, but just a minute from the busier restaurant street and shops. Seico supermarket is just around the corner, so is the shuttle bus stop which takes you to the gondola, onsen etc. The family chair lift is also about 10 minutes walk away. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable. There's a drying room for all our gear in the basement. The kitchen is fully equipped and well supplied with crockery, glasses, kettle, toaster, microwave, cleaning stuff. The Holiday Niseko folks are simply amazing. They picked us up to and from the welcome centre, gave us maps and tips of the area, and were very friendly and helpful throughout. We had an excellent time and loved our apartment!

Rooms are mix of Japanese and european. Full kitchen and ski clothing drying areas. It is a 5 min walk to the ski lifts and quite close to several restaurants. These need to be booked a few days in advance as January is quite busy and the restaurants not very big. Powder skiing is almost guaranteed here unlike anywhere else in the world. We had snow every day which reduced visibility but still good. The temp was about -10 most of the time .

Shinsetsu apartments are in a great location central to Hirafu Village yet down a quiet side street with no bars, this meant less traffic and noise. It is a short stroll to the Ace Family lift and from there up the Hirafu Slopes OR the bus leaves from the top of the street to Hanazono and Annapuri slopes. There are numerous great restaurants within minutes walk and the Seicomart (supermarket) is within easy access. The apartment is modern and well laid out with good heating and laundry and drying facilities easy to access. Travel with our son and his girlfriend we had plenty of privacy and space with separate bathrooms being a plus. The only disappointment was the hard pillows on the beds and the Australian Caroma toilet. One of the excitements of staying in Japan is the very technical toilets with heated seats and all the gizmos. On the up side the Australianess of this apartment meant they had power sockets with Australian adaptions so no need for a converter.

Our family of four spent 7 nights at Shinsetsu (apt 8) & wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when next we visit Niseko. Location is super - Family Ace chairlift is in walking distance or free shuttle to Gondola is located nearby & there are heaps of great restaurants in the surrounding streets. The 2 bedroom apartment is spacious, v clean & cosy and the free wifi is excellent. There are only 3 apartments in the block so drying facilities are more than adequate and there are 2 washing machines & dryers as well. Very happy with our stay here & look forward to returning one day!
