Take care that all bookings for this hotel are non-refundable. Most hotels offer a reduction in the full tariff if you make a non-refundable booking, but M Hotel charges full rates without offering any flexible arrangements. I found this out to my cost when a planned trip was cancelled due to family issues with my ski buddy. We wanted to reschedule the trip but by that time covid 19 worries in Japan dissuaded us.
Very clean and fresh, modern rooms that are well sized for Japanese hotels. The staff are super friendly and obliging and all spoke English, Chloe was of great assistance getting the most out of out time there. The tariff isn't cheap but the location is difficult to better at the price. Breakfast was fantastic compared to others we had whilst in Japan, plenty of it and the knew how to cook bacon and eggs and real toast. Lot's of food and drink choices close by the food trucks and Freddie's next door has amazing food.
We had a fabulous time skiing and staying at M hotel. Chloe checked us in and she was very helpful. When we asked for more towels and pillows she was very accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend Chloe.
Tucked a short four-day long weekend skiing trip to Niseko between business in Hong Kong and Tokyo. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Location couldn't be better, steps away from the main bus stop in Hirafu. Staff was really helpful, notably Emma who checked me in, and they took the time to make certain I was all sorted with instructions and tips. No issues with English as both staff and guests were very international (brush up on your Australian English, though :-) Breakfast selection was wide and plentiful. Rooms serviced every three days, which was just fine. The only klinker was that the room wifi conked out halfway through my stay, but they tried their best, and i could use the lobby wifi without issue. Would definitely stay there again.
A pretty basic hotel in the coolest and best positioned street in Niseko. We were a family of four in two adjoining rooms. The rooms are small (not much space at all outside the bed) but comfortable and cozy. Breakfast is included and is pretty good actually. The staff are friendly, and helpful enough. It’s not cheap for what it is, but compared to other Niseko options in January, it’s probably not bad. And the best thing is the location: Right in the heart of Hirafu village with fantastic restaurants, food trucks, coffee and of course skiing just a stones throw away. An apartment would have been more family-friendly for us however this was a very convenient alternative. Good.
The location is fantastic and have nothing to fault there although there is definitely room for improvement which would make M Hotel a much better place to stay at. Pro’s Great location – close to family lift and restaurants Decent size room Good wifi Good heating Con’s Cooked breakfast was consistently cold Shower went hot and cold Sheets & towels should be changed 1 or 2 days Staff seem a little unmotivated
Stayed in the Niseko Suite for a week of skiing and it was perfect. Great location with easy access to ski lifts, supermarket and lots of restaurants! Staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again 👍
Fantastic hotel right in the heart of grand Hirafu... definitely recommend... breakfast great, room Clean, location perfect, staff super friendly and helpful...awesome experience.. we will be back to niseko and we will stay here again
the M hotel is very central to restaurants and other amenities like convenience stores. the manager and staff are very helpful in information in and around Niseko. was a 5 minute walk to the family ski lift and the major ski instructors. The rooms are spacious with two king singles joined together the bathroom is a good size with plenty of bench space, the shower was the only down fall as it went from hot to cold then hot again and the cold was only for a second and l was told by next season it will be fixed. WIFI is fantastic, very quick and it works everywhere in the building no drop outs.
The hotel was clean and pleasant when we arrived the room was a bit small but this is Japan. The breakfast was good although very western. Things to be mindful of: they only clean the rooms every 3 days and they don’t top up the toilet paper. As mentioned in some of the other reviews the WiFi is non existent in the rooms and the shower constantly fluctuates between freezing and scolding hot. It’s very noisy outside with lots of drunken people shouting in the street at night. We were also greeted with a long list of rules including the fact that the hotel wouldn’t provide translation services if we were arrested and taking a credit card swipe in case we smashed up the room which was was a bit concerning although we saw no evidence of behaviour to warrant such rules during our stay. …
