Perfect apartment! At first we thought it was a bit far, but they have a mini bus shuttle that brings you the slopes in the morning (every half hour between 8 and 10:30) and brings you back to the apartment in the afternoon (every half hour between 14:30 and 14:30) with your equipment. The building has an elevator, gear room and dry room. The apartment (2 East) is fantastic, with quality finish furniture and fixtures, dimmable spot lights, gas fireplace, dishwasher, heater floors, apple TV, etc. Lots of closet space along the hallway and a great onsen (Japanese bathtub) with double doors to a balcony. View of Mount Yōteik from the living room. There are several nice local restaurants around 3-5 min walking from the apartment. And the walk to the main street is not far 10/15min (without gear), slippery though as it is uphill. The team was super nice and helpful. Great job Tim, Jack and the rest! We had a great time and would love to come back some day. Arigato!

The owner informed us that they are unable to accommodate us only 2 week before check-in date. We booked the place and paid in full 2 month earlier. We have to panicky look for others place to stay with only 2 week left. And that is very hard to find a decent place.

This luxurious apartment complex (only four and a penthouse) would have to be one of the finest in Hirafu. Located the quiet Lower Village it was only a 10 minute walk to the main intersection but, if walking is not for you, the apartments have a small bus with a driver who will pick up and drop off for your chosen ski lifts at prearranged times. It was only 300m walk from Onsen Yukoro where we would soak in the hot thermal springs under the falling snow. The apartment was clean and well appointed with a drying room for our ski gear and great security. Our family of 5 was very comfortable and could easily have accommodated other guest.

Me, my husband and my 2 young kids stayed at this place in Jan 16 and are amaze by the design and comfort of this place. At first I am a bit worried about the location as it's not in the upper hirafu but the hotel has 'call them anytime' shuttle service that can bring us to and from the ski place and restaurant so the travelling is not a problem at all. Their concierge service is so amazing as I have literally email Hiromi 100 times to get her organized everything (yes! everything from restaurant, lift pass, rental, ski instructors etc) for me. If you want to stay in a stylist accommodation with your kids then this a place for you!

This was our 4th stay at Niseko and this was the furthest we had stayed from the lifts. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. As others have mentioned, the most distinctive feature of the apartment was the large Ofuro bath. We have found all the Niseko apartments we have stayed in built to a very high standard and this was no exception. We liked the fireplace and the fantastic selection of movies and TV programmes. The staff, particularly Mike and Ben, were very responsive and helpful. The apartment came with a mobile phone preprogrammed with the numbers of the concierge, various restaurants, ski rental shops etc. The nearest restaurant, Ebisutei, was excellent. Perhaps the only possible drawback was the distance from the lifts and the main road where the restaurants are concentrated. You could book your daily shuttle times to and from the gondola but if you didn't prebook your return time, it was faster to use the public shuttle. We made the mistake of initially renting our gear from the ski shop at the gondola since that was where we were dropped off but the equipment at Rhythm was much better. I would recommend that you do your rentals with Rhythm given their selection. They will not, however, end up providing you with any transport although you may be told otherwise. The apartment had a Nespresso machine but there didn't appear to be any stores selling Nespresso capsules in Niseko so bring your own if you have strong preferences. Overall a nice stay.

Response from yasuragi, Manager at Yasuragi
Responded 24 Dec 2014
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We are very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at Yasuragi by Odin. The public shuttle is only a short walk away and as Niseko and Yasuragi grows in popularity we hope it will be re-extended to the calmer, quieter and more beautiful part of Niseko. We will of course always keep the concierge service for our guests, allowing them to enjoy a quick and convenient run to the lifts and help them avoid the sometimes crowded shuttle. Niseko offers a wealth of eating and dinning options, however a very limited supply of coffee. We recommend The Niseko Supply Company when outside your accommodation. When in-house: our Nespresso machines use capsules that can only be purchased online. We stock a large number but a limited range so please feel free to order via us before you arrive or purchase from our stock. A great tip for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us and taking the time to write such a nice review. We hope to see you again in the near future.

We are a family with an 8yo and 10yo. We stayed for 5 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment. The location in the lower village was fantastic. Our girls played unsupervised outside in the glorious snow after skiing each day. Close walk to great restaurants though the prettiest end of the village. Easy walk down the hill from a shuttle stop. Though Ellie and Pippin were always available to drop us off and pick us up as required. Ski hire companies also happily drop off and pick up at each of of hire period. Ayano helped with everything needed prior to arrival and suggested everything we hadn't thought of - nothing was too much trouble - even organising for a spectacular personalised birthday cake to be delivered into our fridge while we skied. Having Ellie as our private instructor for 3 hours each day was one of the best decisions we made. She was patient and caring with the girls and took them for hot chocolates and delivered them to us for lunch each day. Accommodation delightful, well designed and like new - so clean it was hard to believe anyone else had used it prior. Perfect place to stay for a luxurious first trip to Niseko. We will definitely be back!

We were a group of 6 and spent 5 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment at Yasuragi in February. It is really high quality with great attention to detail. The private onsen was wonderful, the underfloor heating with a fluffy rug in the living room was great to lie on after a day out skiing, the bed was really comfortable and the shower had loads of water pressure. But the best part of Yasuragi has to be the super helpful staff. Ellie took care of us during our stay, and helped us out with everything from restaurant bookings to ski lessons! She is a great ski instructor, and organised to take us to Anna'puri for a morning of skiing as well. We really loved our stay here. Everything about Niseko was amazing - the powdery snow, the amazing restaurants, and the great accommodation. The village is small, and Yasuragi is within walking distance of the restaurants and bars. It is also near a shuttle stop (free shuttle runs around the village regularly all day), but Ellie gave us lifts to the slopes whenever we asked her.

Our group of 6 stayed here for a week over the Christmas holidays and had a blast. From the moment I emailed the team managing Yasuragi, I was incredibly impressed. Ayano had us sorted out from the beginning with lift tickets, private taxi hire and a range of dining options. I cannot recommend them enough. Having everything sorted out in advance was a huge time saver and they were able to recommend some really amazing restaurants. They coordinated an amazing dining experience at "Hurry Slowly" and also a really great meal at the "Niseko Supply Company". Also, from the minute we got to the resort, it felt like we were at home. Pepijn was a massive help and shuttled us to and from the mountain everyday, which made it so easy not staying directly on the hill. He also recommended a bunch of great places to have drinks (like the Fridge Bar) and eat as well. The attention to detail at the property is amazing (from the very small details like having all of the dining options automatically programmed into the house phone). All around, the team at Yasuragi was a massive help and would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing ski holiday! My fiance absolutely loved the private onsen and I think spent more time in there than on the hill. I must say that being from Canada, I have been skiing for over 20 years and have some of the best terrain in the world within a 2 hour drive. But, I was incredibly impressed with the consistent snow conditions in Niseko. We will definitely be going back (my fiance went as far to say that she doesn't want to ski anywhere else!! :-) and will be staying at Yasuragi.

We loved this place so much we immediately booked for next year. It worked well for us and our two boys in ski season. Hi spec finishes and a nice ambience. Highly Recommended. Also within walking distance of some fine restaurants. Concierge staff were friendly, proactive and knowledgeable.
