My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 days and we absolutely loved it! Christian was the manager for this season & he's awesome. He made us feel at home from the beginning & cooked yummy breakfast every morning. The owners were there with us (Peter and family) & they were super friendly and accomodating. They have such a lovely lodge and I really recommend anyone to come and stay at North Point for a relaxing and cozy getaway from the busy Hirafu and after a day in the slopes. The lodge is just 10-15 minute walk away from Hirafu Welcome Center. The North point crew have shuttles in the morning to take anyone up to the slopes so not to worry! The room is so so so comfortable and cozy - we both had good sleeps during our stay. I would 100% come back here to stay especially cuz its such a GREAT price point and deal for Niseko and being in the heart of Hirafu!!! If the luxurious and fancy chalets and hotels are not in your price range, THIS is the one you should look at. You're taken care of from the beginning until the end of your trip. You'll have a wonderful time @ North Point!

A very well run lodge by Tony and Carmen. Perfectly set up for skiing with all facilities. Handy to town but book restaurants in advance. Great recommendations from Tony and Carmen. I note the high scoring in the ratings and this is well deserved.

I visited with a group. Carmen & Tony were great hosts, good company and run a good shop. Tony's eggs (& ski legs) are pretty good too. The lodge is well located in Lower Hirafu with good bars & restaurants close by. Recommended to anyone who wants a ski lodge experience.

We had a fantastic time at North Point. The lodge is in a great location and easily accessible to all facilities. It is warm and cozy and immaculately clean. The rooms are a decent size by Japanese standards and blissfully warmed by floor heating. But what really makes this such a great place to stay is the Managers! Carmen and Tony are truly amazing hosts. They are friendly, hospitable and wonderfully generous. They cannot do enough for you. They pick you up on arrival and ferry you around the town and most importantly to the lifts in the morning. They have a wealth of knowledge of the area and offer practical advice on all aspects of skiing/boarding in general. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Dont stay anywhere else!

We loved our stay at North Point! Carmen and Tony were the most amazing hosts. They were full of recommendations for restaurants and bars and were super helpful with gear hire and giving us lifts and lending us odd bits of gear. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The floors were heated and showers were piping hot - essential for a bunch of Perth people in the snow for the first time! There was enough room in the common areas to chill out and feel right at home. It was the perfect pad for our Niseko trip and we'll definitely be back!

Stayed with Carmen and Tony for 6 nights and only have great things to say about the entire experience. Our amazing hosts were ready and waiting for us immediately after getting off our shuttle from the airport and were there to help every step of the way until dropping us back for the shuttle home. Morning breakfast was great and always substantial, rides direct to the lift in the AM and all the tips and tricks to get every bit of enjoyment out our stay, Tony and Carmen truly make your stay as enjoyable and effortless as possible. The place itself is located close enough to the mountain base to walk (we walked home every day), and if that’s not your thing, a public shuttle drops you right around the corner to the accommodation. Had a great week here and would definitely recommend to anyone, and wouldn’t even consider anywhere else when I visit again. Thanks for everything!

Had a fantastic stay at North Point Pension. Tony and Carmen were the ultimate hosts. Fantastic breakfasts, drop offs at the lifts each morning, and perfect advice on where to eat, drink, and play. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, and the whole pension kept very clean and tidy. I can't recommend this place highly enough, and look forward to my next visit!!

Just stayed at north point Tony and Carmen are the best hosts. Tony thanks for the best egg and bacon each morning (great job Tony). Dropping us off to the lifts each morning was fantastic and made it really easy. The pension was really clean and warm and rooms where lager than we expected. Great hosts all week cant't wait to get back there. Thanks for all the advice on where to ski each day.

Tony and Carmen are wonderful caretakers and very friendly. Tony can poach an egg like no ones business. The pension is very comfy and homey. Beds a tad firm, but that is how i like to sleep. The heated floors are very cool. Next time i head to Niseko i will stay here again!

North Point pension is placed in lower Hirafu, which is quieter, but still not that far from the restaurants, shops, and the main intersection. A lovely chalet with great and very welcoming Australian hosts, Carmen & Tony. A cooked breakfast was on offer every morning, eggs cooked to your liking, as well as the cereal, toast, fruit & yoghurt. There was the shuttle run to the slopes in morning by Tony, if you missed that, there is a bus stop just round the corner from the chalet. There is an onsen a couple of blocks away, which was great to soak those tired legs. It was great being in a chalet, hosts to answer your questions, and best places to go, meeting other travellers, and we were lucky to meet Peter who owns the chalet, as he was visiting. At the start and end of your stay, Carmen & Tony will pick you up and drop you off at the Welcome Centre. Due to our arriving flight being cancelled, and having to catch a much later one, Carmen was still in contact through email, and gave us instructions how to enter the property as we arrived at the Welcome Centre at 11.30pm. As we didn't want to disturb our hosts too much, we decided on a taxi to the chalet, but Carmen did say to phone if we were stuck & Tony would collect us. If you do get the chance to stay here, you won't be disappointed, it certainly helps when you have friendly faces to meet after a long journey to a foreign land.
