My husband and I have stayed at the humming bird around 4 times now, its a great hotel with a great location, its close to the nicest beaches and Crown Point strip, I would advise a car for all stays in tobago but its close enough for a stroll or a taxi. The rooms and clean and perfectly fine for what you need, dont expect a 5 star hotel for a 3 star price. The beds are comfortable, the ac is great and the TV has plenty of channels WiFi has always been fine and my husband loves pauls breakfasts. We also chose to stay here for our wedding with our whole family, Paul AND Linda have always been lovely to us, Linda has cooked for my husband (when the hotel does not do evening meals) a couple of times when he has been there without me, and looked after him. The maid offered to provide lifts for our wedding guests to the beach, and little sparkle is exactly what his name says "a sparkle" we love to see him around at breakfast and give him a cuddle. Its just like staying with family. The pool and surrounding area is lovely and relaxing and well kept and clean. Overall its a good base for exploring and an enjoyable relaxing stay, I wouldn't say its only good for short stays as we have stayed for 2 weeks several times and been perfectly comfortable, compared to other hotels the humming bird is very good value for money. If you want to stay somewhere close to the night life and beaches and recieve a warm welcome from owners who have good local knowledge then this is the place for you.…

Very friendly owners, clean room with efficient air con. Lovely relaxing breakfast area by the pool, my personal favorites homemade muesli and porridge. Stayed for 2 weeks, highly recommended and would stay again.

Great small hotel with a pool just outside the rooms. The breakfast area also overlooks the pool and has tiny lights overhead in the evening. The rooms are clean and air conditioned with a shower room. Lifts to nearby beaches are offered in the mornings, though I walked most days. There are restaurants and bars a few minutes down the road. Convenient for the airport.

The accommodation was adequate for what we needed. It was clean, safe and very convenient for exploring Crown Point. The owner was personable and on hand to offer info of various kind. He suggested we have dinner at Café Bistro (probably called something else now) about a 10m minute walk away where the food was absolutely delicious.

The Hummingbird Hotel is well-managed by friendly and helpful staff, good rates, delicious breakfast and beckoning swimming pool. The grounds are not extensive but this is a great place to stay before a flight the next morning. Shuttle available to airport.

Nice and clean hotel with a beautiful pool area. The owners were very welcoming and knowledgeable of Tobago, giving good insight, advice and guidance of the best activities and sites to see. The hotel has a good breakfast menu, in which I did not receive one meal I did not enjoy. Paul and Linda are great cooks! I would definitly recommend staying in this hotel!

I stayed here with my family for 3nights. (Pleasant experience)-It's very quiet,and clean. We had a small and cosy superior room. Its located a few mins away from the airport and beach. Paul the owner is very helpful and pleasant,he even dropped us at the airport on our departure. (Unpleasant experience)-Ms. Linda is not very friendly, she don't even greet you upon sight. Even when I called to get information about the booking,she told me (in a not so pleasant tone) that I have to send an email and not a phone call. The pool closes as early as 8:30pm.No luck with breakfast. On our 1st morning we went to the kitchen and waited and called for about 15mins (with no response) before we went elsewhere to eat. (Not sure if you have to order in advance) It's a nice place for folks on a business trip.…

Phenomenal experience. I generally would not take the time to review a place but felt that this place deserves the props. Paul is a friendly man and his family is lovely. The place was always clean and you're never bothered. Beautiful and clean pool. Not a far walk from the strip. Overall 10/10. Will be coming back here when I visit again. Thanks Paul and family!!!

Excellent, relaxing, clean, very cozy & homely. Great pool and cozy rooms. Walking distance to the airport, approximately 15 mins. Also very close to Store Bay Beach. Excellent hosts Paul & Linda... great place to visit 👍☺

I recently stayed here and it is in a good location for all the Crown Point action on the strip. It is relatively close, maybe 3 mins by car to the strip as well as 3 or 4 mins to Pigeon Bay beach by car. The room comes with air conditioner and a mini fridge stocked with drinks (you must pay for what you drink) and there is a pool which is open until like 8:30 pm. Its also close to the airport which is really convenient.
