Simple but clean and comfortable room with a very good location, close to Store Bay (cheap local street food) and Pigeon Point (maybe the most beautiful beach on this side of the Island). Very kind and helpful owner. There is a shared kichten with a fridge.

We stayed at Candles in the Wind for a long weekend in early May and had a great experience. The host Andrew was super nice and picked us up from the Port. We arrived at the cheerful guesthouse after a tour of Tobago and were shown into our rooms which were spacious and comfortable. The air-con and wifi was great...

We planned on staying at Candles in the wind for 3 nights and stayed for 6. Convenient location, great rates, clean and with all the amenities a traveller requires. Andrew is a great host who genuinely cares for and about his guests. I can not recommend staying here strong enough.

I can say that I met Andrew the owner as a stranger and left as a friend. He is the most welcoming and obliging of person you could wish to meet. I stayed for 8 nights in a single room with a/c. Andrew picked me up and gave me a quick tour of the area to get my bearings. Everything...

Excellent customer service! Extremely comfortable and safe environment with easy access to the main road. Walk, run, ride, crawl or drive nearby to at least 2 beaches, shopping malls and 24/7 food! Hockey board and bikes available for rental. In-house kitchen with personal bathroom facilities per room. Less than 5 minutes from the airport. Highly recommended for individuals or groups.

This guest house served it's purpose as a lay over stop. The rooms were adequate. If you like firm no bounce mattresses, you'll sleep well. The bathrooms had no wash towels, so bring your own. And spray the room with insect repellent. All non locals are sure to get bit. There is no cable TV in the rooms, only fuzzy...

Andrew (the owner) is great!!! He helped us out with transportation and pointed us in the right about where to eat, see and party. This hotel is very cozy and close to a lot of the popular areas. There's a full kitchen available for use. It's very clean and cozy.

Andrew hasn´t cleand the two bathrooms in the attic once, I´m not a niggling person, but that was disgousting... Do I have to urge him to do that?!?! I don´t think so! Anoing ist the fact, that the attic isn´t insect prove and there are no mosquito nets so I got millions of bites... I stood there for 14 nights....

Great experience before I arrived.I made a a booking and for some reason my confirmation mails went to an unknown folder. It was several months later when I realized that I had missed confirming my room. I contacted Andrew and he was able to accommodate me in a different class of room with short notice. Talk about a relief, given...
