My boyfriend and I stayed here at the end of our 6 week trip through Chile and Argentina and it was hands down the best hostel we visited. It didn't feel like a hostel at all, it felt like we were staying with a host family. The place is run by a mother and son and they are both incredibly... More

I had a great time in this hostel in April 2015. It's very well located for those wanting to visit the lovely vineyards outside of Mendoza. The hostel itself was very nice, with a warm, cosy atmosphere, plenty of space in the dormitories and nice clean bathrooms. What really made this hostel though was the family that run it. The... Good connection by bus, excellent location for visiting wineries and helpful family. I think best choice in Maipu. I recommend this hostel and bike from Hugo. Enjoy your visiting like me and my girlfriend.

We stayed here one night after a long day of wine tours. The owners are friendly and treat their guests almost as a host family would. The rooms and bathrooms are small but clean and breakfast was adequate. A nice cheap alternative to the more well known Antigua residence in maipu. It seemed some beds were much more comfortable than... More

We decided to stay in Maipú to make the wine route tour, and we're more than happy to have chosen this hostel. The owners are lovely, helpful and with the best of vibes. The room we stayed at was well lit and airy, since it had a window (we value that after staying in many dark-damp hostels). Also they have... More

I can see why people say this place is more like a home-stay than a hostel. The owner and his mother live at the Hostel as well and do everything they can to make sure you're looked after and have everything you need. the place was comfy, centrally located for the region and was everything we needed to enjoy Maipu... As previously noted in other reviews this is more of a homestay than a hostel. What a delight. I stayed in a dorm room. It was ample sized with huge lockers large enough to fit my 70l bag. We were welcomed to use the kitchen which is shared with the family. We spent our evening there chatting, practicing our Spanish... More

As the kitchen/diner/bathrooms are shared with the family that live here it's more home stay than hostel. The dorms are simple, clean, big lockers, extra blankets. The bathrooms are single sex, big, clean & functional. We only paid $8 a night & had the 5 bed dorm to two of us. Incredible value for this country & area. Other than wineries... More

Hostel wineries is a small family run homestay with very friendly owners. Maria is kind and always keen to chat, as are her sons. The double room we stayed in had a double bed and a bunk bed so was slightly cramped but not too bad. The bathroom was basic but functioned well and the room was very clean. Breakfast... More

I had a great time at Hostel Wineries! The hostel is the best hostel to explore wineries in Mendoza / Maipu, since it is situated in the middle of the tourist winetour area, close to a bike rental. The brothers have many good suggestions, offer wine for cheap and even an assado which is nothing short from awesome. The stay... More
