Comfortable beds, nice linen, spacious rooms but could have been any 4 star hotel anywhere. Could certainly make more of its location in the wine country of the Hunter Valley. The surrounding golf course seems popular with golfers and there was also a large conference at the hotel when we were there whose participants seemed content. For those wanting a...

Stayed at the jewel in the Crowne for 2 nights. Nice spacious areas. Expansive joint back yard. Nice new facilities. So easy to check in and out with the code based entry. My only 2 gripes were: Hotplates don't work properly Intermittent insects and spiders inside our room. You can't really control insects and things that find their way into...

I stayed here for a conference and it was great. Rooms were nice, food was very good, great customer service, and good price. I'm not into golf so that was somewhat wasted on me. I'd come back here if I was coming to the Hunter Valley again. It's nice and close to Cessnock which is handy, but everything is in...

Very well maintained hotel with rooms for everyone. Lovely lobby which was warm and classy. Rooms were spacious. I tried a room for 2, as well as a 3 bedroom apartment on my 2 separate visits. Both were excellent. Breakfast is of high quality as well. One of the best in Hunter Valley!

Expanded across a large area so a bit of a hike to the room. Found it a bit overpriced for meals and drinks. Staff very helpful throughout motel and very pleasant, although function only had one person serving so took a long time for drinks.

We stayed in a three bedroom townhouse for a night with friends. We were three couples so the townhouse size was perfect. With two bathrooms and a large living area there was room for everyone. The purpose of our stay at the Hunter was to explore a few wineries during the day, so we opted to spend the night in...
