The location is beautiful, but we felt it was overpriced for what it offered. The spa bath has mould growing around it and could do with a good clean. The patio for the unit has no privacy from those on either side and noisy neighbours can be annoying late at night. Internet access should be part of the cost, as...

Once again a fabulous experience. The hosts are great people and the facilities to die for. Just love this place. Having done extensive travel around N.Z. this would be the best. Will be returning with family from Broome later in the year.

Ahipara is located a short 15 minute drive west of Kaitaia on the Coast. If you are thinking of staying in the Far North then this is a lovely spot to try. Ahipara Bay Motel is located on a slight hill for lovely views up 90 Mile Beach. There are a few different types of units available but spend the...

What a wonderful and peaceful spot this is. Clean rooms and friendly service with a smile. I have had a very good week here and will stay here next month as well. The evenings on the terrace with the sunsets "right there" are truly amazing. The restaurant is good and offers stone grill as well as regular menu. The fish...

Second time I have stayed here - the views from the front rooms are amazing, I would ask for room 11 on the corner, excellent all day sun and your own private deck looking out over the sea. The rooms have good facilities and the parking is at your door.

We stayed in a deluxe studio and loved it. The view from the balcony was fantastic. We ate dinner on the balcony watching the sun go down and the lights from cars driving along 90 mile beach. The room was spacious and comfortable. Good sized shower room. Easy walk downhill to the beach, a bit harder uphill on the way...

We had a Seaview unit, beautiful views, nice balcony area but, not private. Short walk down to the beach. Unit a little bit tired but, all we needed. Kitchen well equipped but, no oven. Plenty of parking and the ladies at reception are lovely and very helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

Clean and comfortable motel room with fabulous views up and down the beach. The restaurant was very good, with a quirky collection of currency notes from all over the world. Try their stonegrill options. The manager was very down-to-earth and friendly.. We would definitely stay there again.

We didn't stay here but we did come for dinner to the restaurant. There aren't many choices in Ahipara and this was very good. You cook your own food on a hot stone at the table which was kind of fun. I had surf and turf (scallops, shrimp and beef) which were outstanding. My wife had lamb which was also...
