Antonis is a kind and generous person who made it so easy to enjoy and appreciate Crete. He is intelligent, calming, patient, thoughtful, understanding, gracious, selfless, and a wonderful person to call a friend. From the very beginning, Antonis was incredibly helpful and open to assist a new friend. He was so willing to be and stay in contact, which...

during our vacation in Platanias, we discovered this beautiful little hotel, situated on a quiet beach and we were welcomed by a friendly employee. The hotel has a swimming pool and serves traditional Cretan meals. You can walk on the beach to Kissamos where there are many taverna's. Looks like the perfect place to us to spend some time in...

The place is quiet, confortable, super clean, with great cuisine and very honest prices. We had a massive room with 2 balcony and a very big terrace. Balos beach is very easy to reach from there, and is also possible to do a day trip to elafonissi.

What a gem of a hotel! We were very warmly greeted by the owner Antonis who showed us around and picked us up from Kissamos centre. Hotel itself is a true gem. Very cosy, familiar atmophere with its own beach just a few meters away. I especially enjoyed evenings on the terace listening to greek music and the see of...

We come to stay with the Zouridakis family every two years. Not only do they provide superb service and cook amazing Cretan food, they also are the quintiessential Cretans, showing "filoxenia" and much love. We look forward so much to seeing them each time. We arrived at Chania airport, picked up the car and then drove to Kissamos accompanied by a beautiful sunset. We had some problems however finding the place but with a little help from some locals we arrived safely at around 8 p.m. We also had our greek lesson by learning that mesogios is the greek word for the mediterranean sea...

I recently stayed at the Mesogios apartments at approx 2 km from Kissamos with my husband and a friend of ours. We had difficulties in finding it because it is advertised as "Mediterranean apartments" while "Mesogios" is written in a very small font. I would suggest to take as reference point the Olive Oil Soap Factory at about 200 meters...
