Casa degli Ulivi is a XVII-Century farmhouse located in the charming hills of Tuscany, few kilometres away from Florence. Accommodation is provided in four cosy apartments which have been recently restored to offer the perfect combination between excellent comfort and authentic Tuscan style. After driving to the what felt like the end of a road, we arrived to a warm welcome from Sandro & Leonardo with ice cold drinks and homemade biscuits of chocolate & jam, made by Sandro's wife. Casa degli Ulivi was close to the main road to Florence (40 mins or so to the city) whilst providing the feeling of being in the middle of secluded countryside. That first evening I embarked on using the barbecue (a large & slightly daunting prospect), suddenly Sandro & Marcello appeared, to show me and my 9 year old son where there was wood, offer charcoal and set us up nicely. We enjoyed a BBQ every night, the panoramic pool, table tennis, a day trip to Florence, a potter around the shops at the retail outlet nearby, excitement of watching for badgers & wild boar in the evenings. And also the friendly but not intrusive presence of our helpful hosts throughout our stay, there for advice as needed. The accommodation was immaculately clean & lovely with each apartment having it's own table outside for al fresco dining. Thank you so much for a great first Agriturismo experience.…

This was one of the best places we ever stayed in. Beautiful old house in the middle of a green field in the hills of Tuscany, with a swimming pool overlooking the countryside. The room was huge and extremely comfortable. It was so quiet that it was hard to wake up. The kitchen was very well equipped and we used it to cook the delicious pasta dishes we bought at a nearby rotisserie. Leonardo and his father were extremely courteous. We used their wonderful olive oil and drank excellent wine made by their neighbor. We stayed in Casa Degli Ulivi for four nights with our two kids, aged nine and five, and it was unforgettable. We will definitely be back.

Excellent accomodation with great hospitality. Very kind and helpful owners (Sandro and Marcello). The view from our room was beautiful. We had a great time there in 2015 September. If you want to visit Florence and Northern Tuscany this is the best Agriturismo to stay. :)

From hell (camping at Lake Garda) and to heaven: Casa degli Ulivi :). - big smiles on our faces when we realised this. We loved the appartment, the place and the people. Thank you for a very nice stay. N.b Saw interesting animals: wild pigs, giant bug with horns, and "kolibri-moth". Enjoyed the view and of course the pool and the table tennis.

The best you can get! A very nice place to stay. Florence is nearby, but relaxing in such a surrounding is maybe the best thing you can do. The hospitality, the clean accomodation, friendly owner and people, the cookies and vegetables (every day) will remind us (2 adults & 2 small kids) a very pleasant stay at the Casa degli Ulivi.
