Came the second time, because we enjoyed it so much. Very familiar, quiet place. Clean and cozy rooms and a pleasant garden with pool. Breakfast with many good home made cakes. Eggs can be ordered. Dinner in a cozy atmosphere with the best pasta made by Jacobbo. We will definitely be back.
We had never tried Agriturismo before, and had only seen a lot of nice pictures from facebook friends, how they had fun with wine tasting, relaxation, outside dinner. We chose Il Vignolino because of the good reviews on tripadvisor. Either my expectations were to high, or I have to high demands to an accomodation. We came to the place around 16.30, and it says open between 16-19, but nobody at home, so we drove to the nearby outlet to shop, which was fine. Then we arrived back again at 17.30 and were let in. It is very nice surroundings, and a fantastic with over Barberino di Mugello. Silvia is service oriented, but not in a proactive way, you have to ask for everything. We didn't get to know anything about the place, we were just showen to our room. Our room was average room, equipped with a fan and air condition, but very old. But the worst part was the bet, which creaked everytime you turned around. We had dinner the first night of our arrival, and this is here I very much disagree with the other reviews in here. It was all to salty and it looked like something I could have served for an every night dinner at home (and I am not a very good cook), the dessert was but in a nearby supermarket, not home made. I must say it is the worst meal I had on my vacation so far. There were no possibility to eat outside. The restaurants in the city were fantastic. We had some good days, we didn't use the swimming pool that much, but is was there and good size 10x4 meters is my best guess. Now I know what to ask for when coming back to try agriturismo, because it is definitely not the last time we try that, but we would look for a place closer to either Siena, Firenze, Lucca or Pisa.…
High on a hill, quiet but still near the motorway, we were welcomed in this guest house, had a superb Italian dinner and stayed in a huge 4 bed room. The bathroom was a bit simple, but OK. Breakfast fabulous. Highly recommended.
Spend a 4 days break with the family. The place is on the hills, at half hr drive from Florence. Went for Half board. Both breakfast and dinner are more than fine. The owners are very discrete and the atmosphere is like being in a extended family - exactly what I was looking for. Rooms are clean. Definitely a place that will go in my agenda as to stop by again
We landed in Tuscany hills when we exit the tour in this Wonderland. An italian couple is running a vintage business with etiquette. We had the good luck to be invited to eat the dinner in the house. Beautifull memories and nice crickets spring concert at arrival.
