We are two adults and a teeny and stayed 14 nights at this wonderfull place in the mountains in Barberino very close to the outlet. The three ladies Elena, Claudia and Maria made our stay like feeling beeing at home. you have to drive through the parking lot of the outlet and then about 1,5 km up the mountain. The...

We had made another reservation in the mountains, but was late on check in 14:00 I tried to call but no english language was possible to make it clear that we were late. I took this chance to book another place and found this pearl in an old well preserved small castle been done over 15 years in this building...

This is a lovely gem, slightly off the beaten path. While the rooms are not air-conditioned, and the roosters will wake you at dawn, I found it charming and authentic. The dinner was exceptional, with quite possibly the best pasta I have ever eaten. It is not far from the outlet mall (very high end), and a short drive to...

Friendly service....though we arrived at 2.30 and had to wait until 3.10 for someone to answer the buzzer. A sign on gate reads that service open from 3-8. Home cooked meals. Adapted menu to suit us (vegetarian)....caught up on sleep. A bit quirky....gold bathtub for two in room but gorgeous antiques

We visited il Castelluccio resort for 7 days with a family of five. The place was a superb mixture of relaxation under the July Italian sun, shopping with Barberino McArthurGlen outlet, and most of all, eating magnificient homemade Italian foods. Highly recommended! However, keep in mind, that there are limited attractions for children in the neighbourhood. For sporting enthustiastics like...

We actually returned to this location despite the fact that the outdoor hot tub was not useable the 1st time. We also learned that there was an additional charge to use the indoor jacuzzi that was a part of our room. The 2nd time we returned, this past fall, again the hot tub was not even warm and when I...

Our group of 12 took over most of this country resort for about a week. The staff was very helpful in giving local insight and travel advice. Valentina prepared wonderful breakfasts for us, only to be topped by Orinella and her brother for the 3 evening meals we ate at the restaurant. With the exception of the 2 barking German...

Several of us stayed at Il Castelluccio for a week in August and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the rooms and ammenities were great and the food was DELICIOUS! Everything was "as advertised" and we could not have been happier. The location is a little remote, which is what we were looking for, and great for...

Beautiful agriturismo near to Firenze. The menus are great, the food is really fresh and really worth the price. Orinella will guide you in choosing adapted wines from the wine card. Friendly staff! Clean and tasteful rooms! A magnificent view from the pool. A very quiet place where you can fully relax.

We had booked a weeks stay at this place early October 2013. It turned out that just outside the hotel, two German shepherd dogs were kept in a large fence by a nearby farmer, at every night these dogs barked loudly for hours, just 30 meters from our window. After two nights without sleep, we decided to leave the hotel....

“We loved our room "Superior Terra di Toscana", but you need to climb spiral staircase to get to it, and have to carry you own luggage - just be aware. Our friends stayed at "Superior Giotto" and were bit disappointed that they did not have any windows - just glass door.”
