We did not book this place but came here after our booked pension was overbooked. In the end we were so happy to end up here. Really spacious cottage with everything you need. Also the shortcut they arranged to the beach was really great! Only 3 minutes. Friendly staff and it got cleaned every day. Really recommend to stay here.

We stayed for 4 nights, huge room with cooking facilities, our own veranda with hammock - lovely. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. We had direct access to the beach so it was only 3 minutes walk!

We stayed at 3 locations, all quite different but this this ticked more boxes than others. Firstly, the location. Whilst it may appear tucked away and a bit of a walk to get anywhere WRONG. They have a short path which shortcuts straight to the beach. They provide a pass to grant a right of way through the neighbouring hotel....

Good accommodation aprox 1km from the beach. It's quiet and reasonably priced. Store is nearby. Bed is ok. There are mosquito nets on windows. AC works. Bathroom is clean, but it stinks from drainage when you shower. Recomended.

If you are into both forest and beach lover, this resort is for you, the place has a quite touch of european and philippines style design.. It is worth a stay as Alona Beach is just a minutes walk away, love the hammock set in each bungalow. The owners are friendly and very accommodating, in terms of motorbike service, they...

I've stayed at this place twice, and I'll be going again soon. Location is great - not far from the beach but yet secluded, hidden in it's own little jungle, very peaceful and quite, away from the busy Alona beach, but yet 5min walk from it. Cottages are just dream like, very unique style, I haven't seen nothing like it...

We stayed 4 nights. The rooms where adequate and shower okay. Distance to beach is short, accessing through a beach hotel. The downsides where the large noisy animals in the roof space (we actually woke with a jolt from the noise, thinking a coconut had hit the roof, but the subsequent squealing and scratching dispelled that thought). The other issue...

We stayed at Bananaland Cottages for two nights during Chinese New Year this year. The price was excellent for that week. The three of us fit comfortably in the Duplex with a double and single bed. It also had a nice deck with a hammock and some chairs for sitting in the evening. The surroundings are good for finding hidden...

“They are building a brick built accommodation block, try it as it is less likely to have roof-rats.”

“Rooms are cheap, so good for the budget conscious travelers... Decent enough facility... you can use the pool and access the beachfront resort to go to the beach as they have connections with the cottage owners, i guess... Check out nightlife while there..”
