Browsing at Eskaya's website, the descriptions and pictures do not do justice to the resort in reality. the moment we stepped out of the airport , we were promptly welcomed by a waiting staff to bring us to the resort.. Kuya Martin carried our luggages and showed us to the resort's van , upon seating he gave us ice cold... More

Entitling your review for Eskaya as "Paradise Rediscovered" is a compliment that we are truly honored to receive. We strive to exceed our guests' expectations, and I am so happy that we have done this for you and your family. Thank you for your honest feedback on our food in the Lantawan Restaurant. I am glad that you enjoyed our... More

One of the best resorts in Bohol. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The food is a little pricey but is worth it. View of the beach is breathtaking. Private pool in every villa. Recommended for couples/families who want to relax and have a peaceful trip. 5 stars

For this vacation, we wanted a retreat from the city and privacy. This is exactly what Eskaya offered. The 2 Garden Villas with our own pools were perfect for my husband, myself and our 2 children. The baths of these villas are open and allows you to be one with nature. Totally enjoyed the walks along the beach and within... More

Eskaya is one of the best resorts I've ever been to. The villas were beautiful and the beds were really comfortable. I love that they made up the rooms 2x a day and even provided anti-mosquito tools. We also never ran out of towels--even the beach towels for swimming. The staff was also very friendly and they made sure we... More

We have been upgraded to the private bangalow with see view infinity pool. What else to say than wonderfull ? Nice rooms, bathroom, pool, private balcony Then for a place of such standing lots must be improved. Diner is expensive and bellow average, coktails horrible, and karaoke very loud and unapripriate for those expecting a rolantic beach side diner. So... More

Stayed in Eskaya last Holy Week (April 2 to 5, 2015). We were in a two bedroom villa with a pool and a living room. We were also assigned our own butler, Ricky. The person in charge to pick us up from the airport seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. I wasn't able to catch his name... More

Overall - 4.5 Service - 5 Accommodations - 5.0 Food - 5 Resort - 3 Highlights - If you read nothing else - Eskaya is a pretty unique property. The bungalows are very high quality, staff are excellent, food is good, but there are shortcomings - the beach, mosquitoes, and (possibly) the mentality of the ownership/management that keep it from... Their hut / villa is beautiful and the welcoming committee quite impressive. However, the accolades stop there. The resort is not well-maintained (e.g., the pool has broken tiles). It's not what you would expect for $600/night! To make matters worse, the food was atrocious. My meal was very salty and over-priced. Amorita, also in Bohol, is a much better choice.

We stayed here last February 28, 2015 to March 2, 2015 using two GIFT CHECKS worth US$500 each for a two nights stay in their cheapest villa (Balai Seaview). I say this resort is over-rated with a greedy management because of the ff. reasons: 1. For using two gift checks with a total worth of US$1,000.00, they still want to... More

I booked an overnight stay on this hotel on my recent trip to the Philippines.Welcome committee and reception ladies were courteous and warm. Individual villas are spacious, quiet and very relaxing as the villa we occupied was overlooking the ocean.Since the resort is undergoing expansion, the management was generous enough to give us a complimentary shiatsu massage while we were...
