We have just returned from a great weekend away to this hotel. The setting right in the beach at Carbis Bay is perfect and so pretty. We stayed in apartment number two with a secret escapes offer. The apartment was lovely with two bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge / kitchen and an outside patio area. It had everything you could want...

Carbis Bay hotel is a delightful place to stay. We have been going for many years and are always made to feel most welcome. It is a family run hotel and it shows. Yes, a lot of changes are taking place but I cannot believe some of the negative comments others are making. It continues to be staffed by a...

Had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The bay was clean and tidy with a fabulous sunrise if you're up early enough. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend Sands restaurant for any meal. St Ives is a short costal walk away taking roughly twenty minutes, take a torch if you're walking back at night though.

I spent the day here a couple of days ago using the facilities and having a treatment in the spa. I had had my eye on the Signature Treatment - Serenity By The Sea for a while and decided to treat myself. It was an absolutely stunning day with wall to wall blue skies and sunshine. I arrived to incredibly...

A very pleasant short break at the Carbis Bay Hotel, staying in a 2 bed apartment, beautifully furnished and well equipped, pretty gardens with an architectural backdrop of a Victorian railway viaduct and only the occasional train. Just a minute's walk or so from the main hotel and then another minute down to the beach. The C Bay Spa beside...

DON'T go if they have a wedding booked. If you must , book a room at the back. Weddings take over at the expense of other guests. Guests are everywhere, very noisy until the early hours.. A lovely setting. Rooms good. Pleasant walk into St. Ives. Train handy . Although our room was at the back the train didn't intrude...

The Carbis Bay Hotel has it in bucket loads....Set in the centre of a horseshoe bay with golden sands and no competition it is a super place to stay. Just spent Easter break there. Check in was very good thanks to Lesley who clearly enjoys what she does.A tour of the hotel and then shown to our room on the...

We just returned home from spending a three night break over the long Easter bank holiday weekend at the Carbis Bay Hotel enjoying all aspects of our visit and actually I cannot think of anything negative to say about our stay! I stumbled across the hotel whilst researching for somewhere to visit/stay for the Easter bank holiday weekend, we'd...

I can not recommend this place highly enough, the Hotel is of a very high standard, the food is amazing, and the staff were very polite and professional. The hotel is in an ideal location to enjoy the beach at Carbis Bay, or as we did, catch a train into St Ives, which only took 3 minutes...and cost £2 return!

The views are spectacular and that makes the stay worthwhile, plus the staff are friendly and helpful. A good range of beer. The coastal path to St Ives is a pleasant walk and you look forward to the downhill bits; you can always get thee train back. St Ives is lovely but the streets can be busy. Building works are...
