The views are to die for. The breakfasts eaten while taking in the views over the valley to Witta are remembered fondly. The hosts Jane and Leeroy, including the welcoming pets, feel like close family. If you are very fortunate, Jane will cook a meal on Saturday night that would easily pass muster at any fine restaurant sporting a hat....

We were low on cash and don't use credit cards, Leroy was great when showing us around but could not give us a clear price...all he would say is "Don't worry, I will look after you" when I called back later the next day the price went up from $245 to $290 for 1 night, I said that it was...

This lovely B&B in with the french hen theme in the quaint township of Montville in the Sunshine Hinterland was a fantastic little retreat with fabulous breakfasts every morning by our wonderful host Leeroy overlooking the rolling hills. We stayed in the Snowpea suite which has a queen bed and 2 singles. French doors that lead onto a lovely little...

We had a lovely time in this b&b with all the little details that added to our experience of peace & relaxation. Leeroy was helpful and awesome, our cottage was comfortable with a French influence and rustic charm. We meandered across the field in the morning seeing cows, horses and chooks as well as the friendly cats.

We booked this Montville B & B after some online research at TA. Called ahead to book dinner with hosts Leroy & Jane for our 2nd night. Seamless, courteous & helpful with recommendations for local restaurants on our first night. We booked the Snowpea suite. On arrival late on Friday afternoon, Leroy was there to settle us into our suite....

We have stayed at several places in Montville over the years i cant work out why we left it so long to stay at the Spotted Chook. It is our favourite accommodation now in Montville and we will definitely be returning. We had The Loft which is a large, bright, airy room with a beautiful view out over the rolling...

We decided to take some time heading north after a few weeks in South East QLD. Normally we would scoot on up the highway but felt like taking it a bit easy after the hectic time over Christmas and New Year. We would normally get further North the first night but because of the recent busyness, decided to stay in...

We stayed for 2 nights in the "Snowpea" room which was just perfect. Jane & Leeroy are wonderful hosts. The rooms are exactly as they are pictured on their website. Breakfast is fantastic with a range of homemade goodies from Jane incl. Granola and various tarts etc. The cooked breakfast with eggs from their own happy chooks is brilliant. The...

Thanks for your review. The snowpea is my favourite coloured room. The chooks are a little chicken at the moment as there has been a fox doing nasty things. No eggs for a few days now. All the best Leeroy and Jane

The Spotted Chook is just so delightful. Jane and Leeroy are so wonderfully hospitable. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The location is gorgeous. We were able to take both short and long walks, taking in the beautiful scenery. Although you feel a world away from the hustle with the rolling hills all around you are...

We loved everything about our stay at the Spotted Chook. Our room (Snowpea) was comfortable with a french theme - we felt we were back in the south of France. Leeroy and Jane our hosts were welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts delicious. Make sure you stay there - it is a first class establishment. We look forward to our...

Sorry for the late reply. Our daughter is married and the wedding of 2016 is all done. We have redone the look in the lounge, dining and reception. Looks a little bit less country but still has fun. Lots of pics on our facebook and instagram. Glad you found the breakfast delicious and that you have us as a first...
