My wife and I arranged a 4 day trans ardennaise walk through Denis, owner of La Pommeraie. He picked us up from the station and equipped us with the map and contact details for the walk. The b&b is a sweet little farmhouse with a couple of acres, some chickens and sheep. There is a nice garden behind. Our room... More

We stayed at La Pommeraie twice while I was working in the area. So while we did not do a lot of sightseeing, we did enough driving around to be charmed by the beauty of the whole area. Great for walking, visit small villages, go to Fourneau Saint Michel museum or the country fair of Libramont in July. We first... More

My partner and I were doing the Transardennaise walk and our contact owned the above establishment. It is located at the end of a day's walk in a very quiet, rural setting. There are no shops, but if walking in fields and forests is your thing, then this walk and location should keep you happy. Our instructions were translated into... More

Was given this location through a walking company. Had the best experience. . Were picked up at Marloie and transported to our first stop, then walked to La Pommeraie. What a night, wish it was longer, certainly returning. Very good host and knowledgeable of the region and organiser of the walk. Superb food, beds and company Could not do enough... More

We picked to stay here because it was reasonably close to a lot of places and major roads nearby make it easy. It was pretty quick to get to/from Bastogne, La Roche, etc... and there are some nice hikes in the surrounding area as well. With the studio room, was a nice spot to stay for a few days. The... Picked this location as it was close to Bastogne and next to a national park. Very quaint and restored facility full of antiques. Quiet location. Guest rooms are up 11-23 stairs depending on the floor you are on. The first 11 are antique, steep and narrow. So not for those with arthritis of the knees or difficulty walking. Rooms are... More

We really enjoyed our stay at La Pommeraie. The couple that ran the B&B were very friendly and very helpful about finding places of interest for us in the area. They both spoke enough English answer all of our questions. La Pommeraie is a very quaint B&B out in the country. Our room was up two flights of stairs, which... More
