I have read many reviews - and some had me excited , and others had me a bit worried - but I need not have been. This was one of the BEST family holidays I have been on. When visiting this hotel - be aware that it is aimed at families - and as such there are a lot of children around, and entertainment and the bars close relatively early - Entertainment finishes about 10:30pm local time and Bar closes at 11pm We were a family of 6 - with the youngest 4 and eldest 11, and all the kids found plenty to do, and especially loved the random lunchtime "Cocktail Games" - whether this was how far you can fling a flip flop - blackjack darts, or rebound the football round a wall and into the goal - big thumbs up from the junior section! Bingo - again a firm favourite with the little ones - but when this was on it was free to enter - and all about having fun rather than big cash prizes - and a bonus you didn't need a dabbed as the tickets were pop out ones Reception - and staff in general - incredibly courteous - friendly and could not do enough to help. - Don't get me wrong things can and will go wrong at times, ( their was an issue with the hot water for a few hours ) but its how they are put right that counts - and they sorted our issue out promptly with a smile on their face ( even when other guests were getting aggressive about the same problem. Restaurant - Breakfast and Lunch were great - Dinner however was a bit of a challenge due to the sheer numbers of people trying to eat at once. As I mentioned this is a family hotel and there are a lot of children - and this was a slight issue with the evening buffet as kids tend to take a while to fill there plate. as there is only one main buffet station this meant that often the hot food you placed on your plate while queueing was often cold when you eventually sat down. The only viable solution to this would be for the hotel to invest in a second buffet area, but where they would fit it in the restaurant , I don't know! The staff again were very pleasant and extremely helpful with my son who is Coeliac and has to have a Gluten Free Diet. they were more than happy to show what he could have from the main buffet - and then plate up in the kitchen to avoid contamination - as well as offer additional items that were not on the menu too Waterpark - as everyone has said before - AMAZING. its not the largest - but again for the ages of my family it was perfect. - The Lifeguards were on it at all times - and friendly - and when there was an injury - there was an onsite doctor and the hotel staff where there offering assistance and help the individual involved - we all felt incredibly safe Towels - available to hire at a cost of 10 Euros per towel - which is a deposit fee - you pay on credit card and get the refund in cash at the end of the holiday Safe Key - 3 Euros per day and 10 Euro deposit - as above paid by credit card and refund in cash at the end of the holiday Entertainment Staff - all amazing - but one member of the team caught the eye of everyone there - and deserves a special mention - Lucas- amazing with the kids and adults too- approachable and caring. It was incredible to find out he had only been at Sur Menorca for a month - as he looked a seasoned professional - and has great things ahead of him Accommodation - we had a 2 bedroom premium suite - which was 2 storey with a balcony terrace to sit out on - it was clean - had a fridge and microwave - 2 bathrooms and air con - again ideal for our needs Bar - Wide range of local spirits, San Miguel , Children's slushies and the usual coca cola soft drinks - plus red , white and rose on tap. - What was missing - and th7is is usually the case - is there was no Cider. This is obviously a hotel that experiences a high volume British tourists - and while I appreciate it would cost a fortune to bring in British Cider - it would be welcome if they had some Spanish Cider on draft going forward . - There would definitely be a high demand for it with the weather in Menorca Weather - we went at the end of May / 1st week of June. The weather played a massive part in the temperature of the pools - the first 2 days were cloudy and the pools incredibly cold, however they soon warmed up when the sun came out - be aware of this and make sure you bring a Rash Vest or something warm to wear in the pool if coming towards the beginning or end of season Wifi - available throughout the waterpark and hotel - signal could be a bit intermittent - but it was a free services, and again we were on holiday - so Wifi was not too important other than the online check in for flights Punta Prima - short walk from the hotel - or there is a free bus - we walked so could not comment on the bus - lovely beach- a few supermarkets and souvenir shops. I believe water sports available to hire - and plenty of fish to see in the sea - which again was lovely and warm. Good kids play area close to the beach The only real problem I found with the hotel - Is that they entire family want to come back again!!! and this time for 2 weeks rather than 7 days So Yes we will definitely be returning once we have saved our pennies, thank you for a wonderful relaxing break …

Lovely hotel, kids loved it'perfect for our toddler and nearly 7 year old. Food great and bar/restaurant always clean. Bar service very prompt. Nice, laid back vibe but also very helpful. Our room was on the smaller size but not an issue as we were hardly there and children actually loved us all sleeping in same room. We would definitely return

On arrival first thing in the morning we were surprised to find our room was ready. Reception: immaculate as always. Reception Staff speak very good English. Rooms: basic, however kept very clean. The room has a mini fridge. Tv, wardrobe with a drawer and safe in. Bathroom: shower cubicle which is small, toilet and basin. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Pools: there a main pool at the hotel with a children’s area. There’s also a small pool at the back of the hotel past the suits and bungalows, near where they do the daily activities. Not many people know about this, so it’s worth a visit specially if you have little ones. Gym: there’s a small gym opposite reception with basics, from what I saw, however as I’m not a gym kind of person I’m no one to judge. Lounge: the lounge area has a tv, a few tables and chairs and also sofas. Dinning room: this is a fair size and even when busy you will still get a table due to the staff clearing and resetting in the blink of an eye. Entertainment: all entertainment staff work their socks off through the day with activities and then in the evening with the kids disco and certificate presentations. (For the participants in the daily activities) Activities: water polo, French bowls, darts, football tennis, riffle shooting, archery. Splash park: there are plenty of Sun loungers for everyone. Not once did I see anyone queuing to put towels down. (That’s including park and main pool) The food is chargeable but the drinks are included. Please ensure you take water socks/shoes as the ground is quite course.…

Very handy for the waterpark but not much else going off around the area. Punta Prima was a pleasant walk with a nice beach and a few bars and shops. This is a perfect holiday for families loving water parks IF the weather is hot. Sadly we chose a cool very windy week to stay so only did the water park twice when we had expected to be there every day. The hotel had advanced notice that one of our party was nut and fruit allergic and they had taken care to ensure no lemon juice was near the salads and dishes were clearly labelled or the servers were knowledgeable about various intolerances and the ingredients of the food they prepared. Anything sourced outside was also identified by the servers at the buffet. One hiccup with the wine dispenser one day , tasting of chlorine but rectified. Bus services to Mahon were reliable but I would avoid using the local road "train" as its was a fixed price no matter how short or long your journey. Rooms were fine, clean and fairly comfortable. We had a balcony room overlooking the pool and entertainment stage but noise was not excessive at night and cut off completely at 11.30. It would have been a fabulous holiday had the weather been much warmer. Looking at our weather app, temperatures were shown as 19C ( but wind made it around 14C) whereas last year the week was 27C. The children became obsessed with the pool table. spent a fortune on it at 2 euros a go and we ended up buying one for them when we came home. I think it cost us less than we spent on the hotel pool table.…

The check in and check out at this hotel were very easy, and the staff gave plenty of information about the locality, places to visit and access to transport. There are buses frequently at minimal cost to visit the towns and markets on the island, and a delightful train that will take you to a delightful little town with great restaurants and a supermarket which leaves the hotel hourly until early evening. The water park was well kept and clean. The water was freezing while we were there, but that was due to the inclement weather. It was considerably warmer midweek! The rooms are very basic with no tea and coffee facilities, which some of us come to expect, and the beds aren’t the best with sausage pillows and mattresses that aren’t terribly comfortable, but after a busy day good enough for a fairly good sleep if you’re very tired! The housekeeping staff are very good, and keep rooms very clean. The food in the restaurant is more than adequate for most diets, and a reasonable variety of hot food is available. Plenty of drinks available and a good variety of desserts. Staff very efficient (sometimes too efficient, clearing away the minute you’ve put your fork down…)… Bar has lovely coffee, good beer, but cocktails are a disaster!! Be aware that water bottles are extra to the all inclusive, so get some to keep in your room fridge at the supermarket. The pool is clean and there are a lot of sun beds so no sun bed wars! The evening entertainment is a bit of a mix, but there is a kids club and generally,it’s very good. The very worst thing of all is the stench of the toilets. The smell in the hotel lobby is revolting, and the toilets closest to it almost made me vomit one evening. It spoils the atmosphere of the place. We took out daughter and her partner and our two grandchildren on this holiday, and the children had a wonderful time, so for that reason alone I’m glad we did it. Fantastic memories for all of us together, but in all honesty I would not return to this hotel.…

We have just returned from an 11 night all inclusive stay at Sur Menorca. We were a family of 10 staying in 2 of their premium suites. The accommodation was lovely clean and very spacious, I have seen a couple of reviews complaining about the size of rooms especially showers, so if you need space I would highly recommend the premium suites. It consists of a living room/ kitchen area, a drying room, 2 bedrooms amd 2 bathrooms, one bathroom has a bath with a shower over, the other bathroom has a wall in shower, which is very spacious, it is also very powerful. The food was amazing, always plenty of options and staff making sure it was always topped up, the all inclusive drinks were also very good. The staff were all extremely polite and nothing was ever a bother for them, they always worked with a smile, from the cleaning staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, entertainment staff and the water park staff. The manage was always about making sure that everything ran smoothly, he was also not afraid to get stuck in to help, cleaning tables if he walked passed and they needed doing, he also help carrying our prams upstairs (even though there was plenty of us to do it). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for visit Menorca with children. …

We stayed in 19-26th May 2023 on an all inclusive holiday with Jet2. The hotel was a short trip on the coach from the airport. I requested with the hotel before arrival that our family’s three rooms be close to one another, and I am pleased to say the did meet my request. We had three rooms all next to each other. With views that over looked the swimming pool. The rooms are lovely, but the shower cubicle is very small. The food was good, the drinks included within the all inclusive was brilliant. The on tap cocktails are disgusting (to our group anyway). An issue the hotel may need to look into is water bottle refill stations. Yes you can get a refill when bar is open. However any other time you need to buy a plastic bottle. Each floor or at least at reception should have a water bottle refill station. This would help the hotel cut down on plastic use. The staff members from cleaning teams to reception and the bar we encountered where all very nice. The hotel and area surrounding was nice and clean. The animation team are brilliant, the kids club team was Sofia, Tiia, Ana Pau and Manolo. Manolo was great with the kids, ours loved him along with the all other members of the team. They all took the time to talk and interact with them. Even when they are just walking around the complex, and not working. The adults sport team is a really nice guy called Lucas, he makes you feel at ease and gives good banter. We took part in activities like shooting, archery etc and we hadn’t done these before, but Lucas just made it easy and fun to do. He too also brilliant with he kids. In fact the whole animation team was brilliant with adults and kids. They always took time to listen to you and answer questions etc. One of the best animation teams we have had the pleasure of meeting on our many holidays. The water park is great fun, but be warned you really need pool shoes. The area despite it being an area where almost everyone will be in bare feet is very sore on your feet. Grit and stones on all walk ways. This is a matter that I hope the hotel addresses. If you stay all inclusive your drinks are included at the water park, which is great little extra. Sadly no food is part of the all inclusive within the water park. The hotel doesn’t have much near it, but they do provide a great free shuttle bus to Punta Prima and back again. This is walkable though at only around 10-15 minutes. A really nice walk if you go the coast way. The hotel has a nice little shop on the premisses, along with a couple within the water park. As a family group of six we all enjoyed our stay and would indeed go back.…

Lovely family hotel, all staff were friendly and helpful. Food was beautiful great facilities and very clean will definitely be back to visit. Free bus to Punta Prima which we used but also took a walk down to the local rock beach which was great for rock pools.

Went to this hotel some years ago and had a wonderful holiday, it's gone downhill since then. Food is pretty poor, bland, boring and repetitive. Plain spaghetti and plain white rice seem to be the staples with either pork, squid or chicken drumsticks in different sauces. Entertainment, which is pretty poor is, is all outdoors, goodness knows what would happen if it rained as there is not enough space for all the guests indoors other than in bedrooms. While we were there days were hot but eveings cool so if you feel the cold, take a coat. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on site except on the tiny balconies, which is a bit of an anomaly, (shame this isn't mentioned anywhere before you book) this means that females travelling without men are very vulnerable at night when they have to go outside to smoke. Shower cubicles in rooms are very small so not recommended if you weigh over about 10 stone. There are no drawers in rooms which means that small items that would usually be put in a drawer are left laying around the room. Pool area is brilliant, lots of sunbeds, unfortunately though, some parents seem to abandon the idea of parenting and let their kids run riot. I came with my stepmum to revisit some happy memories of a holiday with her, my husband and my late father, shame the hotel let us down.
