My partner booked as a surprise which in itself was amazing first time in 8 years 😂 Beautiful location stunning views the hotel does look tired but does go with age of hotel it just needs a bit of work furniture needs some reupholstering in conservatory spoils the room as sofas need some plumping!! The staff work hard and are...

thank you for taking time to leave feedback on your recent stay I'm sorry you found the atmosphere too quiet; we do have background music in the bar area; it doesn't always stretch through to the conservatory we keep the pool at a steady 30 degrees, and the spa pool at 36, I can only apologise if they felt cold...

Afternoon tea for 8 for my mothers birthday. Arrived and were shown into the conservatory where we had 4 sofas and a tea table set up. We had an amazing view over the countryside. Pot of tea and coffee arrived and then three huge slate trays of sandwiches, scones with cream and jam and a tray of lovely home made...

I had a two night stay at Cricklade House as i was away on business. It was mid week, but at times i felt like the only guest. The staff tell me that it gets busy at weekends and wedding season, but mid week March must be the doldrums. The hotel frontage and grounds are impressive, but the interior is...

I've actually stayed here on a couple of occasions now, most recently just last week. The hotel isn't flash or fancy but it is good value, lovely location and views, dinner and breakfast both good quality and all of the staff are very friendly. Bedrooms are dated but clean and tidy and much better value than those in Swindon town...

Good room rate for the area, although hotel is in need of refurbishment and soom rooms are better than others. Nice surroundings and good food. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms in outer court yard are very clean and new but no hot water to rooms in the morning, hot water feed from main hotel very poor. Rooms in main...

thank you for your feedback on the hotel we've had improvements to the WiFi to boost the signals and the boilers and heating systems have all been serviced and altered as necessary to try and resolve the issue of how long it takes to draw hot water in the morning and to stop some of the rooms from feeling cold....

This time, on one of our annual/regular visits, they have obviously taken note of previous constructive criticism although the place is still in need of general refurbishment. The staff even more pleasant and helpful and after years of issues, they are making a conscious effort to man the bar all the time. Big improvement. Yet again, no Worcestershire sauce!! The...

Great hotel in a great area. Slightly old fashioned in areas, but thats just preference. We ordered lunch on our first day and it was lovely. However I ordered a chicken sandwich, which was very nice, but would have been better if the chicken was hot. Pool is great with a fantastic little jacuzzi tub. Changing rooms slightly old, but...

I cannot recommend enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff could not do enough for us. We felt so welcomed, so relaxed and had every need catered for.
