Came back to Rishikesh within 3 months to experience the positivity in this city. No second thoughts about where to stay- Terrakota without doubt. As always the hospitality was special - coupled with excellent food at the restaurant. Enjoyed the place once again
Pro: hotel is very beautiful and we had a spacious room. Staff also very friendly and helpful. They make personal effort to ensure comfortable stay. Con: Entrance to the property is very narrow. That's the only issue
Visited Terrakotta Rishikesh with family. Loved the property, rooms were very clean and cozy, staff was extremely friendly and cooperative. Special mention to the chef and restaurant staff, they served extremely delicious meals curated to our group’s taste and preferences. A must visit if you are traveling with a big group!
Hotel staff were attentive and helpful including the Monsoon restaurant staff. Food was tasty and presentation was excellent! They did an excellent job with helping us celebrate my son’s birthday with a cake and let me pick his favorite food for the buffet. Breakfast and dinner buffet were included which made it much easier for us to gradually acclimate and a safe food option. They accommodated early check in after our long flight, which really helped with jet lagging! Hotel is close to lakshman Jhula water taxi and some shopping and restaurants. Front desk staff helped us find auto (fits 4-6) around town and taxi to Dehradun airport. Room was comfortable but shower was Luke warm. 3rd floor has the view to Gamga but 1st floor room seemed to be more spacious. It was a pleasant stay for everyone and I would do it again! :)…
Great hotel. We stayed for 3 nights. But for room size(may be our expectations were not ok). Excellent location. Beautiful view from terrace of Ganga and lovely mountains. Service and hospitality superb.Food was excellent. I strongly recommend to any one travelling to Rishikesh to explore the option.
a) The hotel was newly opened because of this we did not have to worry about maintenance. The place was quite neat. b) We savored every last morsel of our buffet breakfast. c) Room size was decent and the hotel staff were courteous d) It might get difficult to locate the hotel as it is situated inside a narrow lane. One has to walk for about a minute to reach it from the main road e) At about 550 metres from the hotel, an agency, Red Chilli Adventure is located with whom one can plan their rafting of 16km/26km/35kms. They are one of the best in the town as many of the roadside agencies are phony. f) You should also visit The Secret Waterfall and you just cannot miss eating at the Little Buddha Café (Vegetarian only).
Excellent food, service, presentation, friendly staff and comfortable beautifully laid out rooms. Our stay experience in this hotel was really excellent and we would certainly tell our friends to stay here whenever in Rishikesh. The food by chef Amit is par excellence and provides every type of healthy food as required by the modern generation : vegan, gluten free, lovely healthy smoothies etc etc. Our stay of 3 days with the family was memorable. The approach to the hotel is not impressive through very narrow lanes. But after you are settled in - your holiday starts!
The Terrakotta was wonderful. The rooms were spacious, well-furnished, and clean. The restaurant was great, with a wide variety of vegetarian meals from around the world (the entire city of Rishikesh is vegetarian and dry, i.e., no alcohol). And, the staff was friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful meal and the best dessert ever! If you're in Rishikesh don't miss this restaurant! Extensive menu with multi-national cuisine. Don't miss the chocolate ice cream with orange zest - the chef's personal creation.
Wonderful property. Extremely clean and well kept. Good modern finishes to the room and washrooms- equipped with good quality linen and toiletries. Responsive staff. Accommodated our request for an early breakfast with a smile and “ can do- will do attitude”. Photographs do justice to the property - what you see is what you get. Donot hesitate to book this property- very close to the hub and Laxman jhula also. Will stay here again when visiting Rishikesh.
