Another perfect holiday in this apartment. Been coming for many years and still love the comfortable, well equipped apartment. Plenty of space for two people although there is room for 4 if both bedrooms are used. Spacious shower with plenty of hot water. Lots of equipment in the kitchen area and now there is mains electricity!!! The view from the...

We have been to El Caleton numerous times over many years. The apartments are not the height of luxury, if you want that book into a hotel. We did, staying at Hotel riu Tres Islas in Corallejo, December 2016, but only as a one off. If you want quiet, secluded (apart from weekends and main holiday season) then this is...

Fantastic position with balcony overlooking the lagoons, simply beautiful. Apartment was superb, comfortable and well equipped. Generator was a bit of fun, suggest not leaving it too late in the evening to watch a film, you may well miss the end! El Cotillo was a little quiet, but I understand May is when the locals take their hols. Still, if...

We returned this month to El Caleton after a gap of several years and I am happy to say that the setting is as idyllic as ever. El Cotillo has certainly developed meantime but El Caleton remains an oasis of peace right on the most beautiful beach and small sea bay. There has been much upgrading of the apartments with...

What a find! Just the most perfect peaceful place! Right on a beautiful lagoon. Stayed in apt 2 and booked again for next year and know it's a place will return over and over again. Weather perfect and swam in the safe lagoon every day. Short walk to lovely El Cotillo. Went with my best friend and made more. Wonderful!

Another fantastic week at number 8. This is our 4th visit to no 8 and each visit very magical. El Caleton is a little oasis, peaceful, beautiful lagoon and beach. It's great to wake up and the first view is of the lagoon. The apartment is very comfortable, well equipped and great views. Additional high chair and cot for baby...

I stayed in apartment 10 with my family for a week recently and it was tremendous. The location is superb, the owners are very helpful and friendly and all of the communications/booking queries etc were handled really well. The apartment is really nice, very quiet, with amazing views from the balcony, the location is hard to beat. We will definitely...

We have just returned from our second two week trip this year to No 9. As ever the magic of this little lagoon works very quickly on you. The apartment has perhaps the best views of all, with sunrise in the bedroom window and sunset over the balcony. If you want 5 star accommodation then don't come to El Caleton...

I stayed in this apartment for a week with my sister and her husband it was spacious enough for the three of us and had a lovely view of the sea and the beaches from the balcony. The apartment was very basic and sparsely furnished the bedrooms and shower room could do with some more storage space. It has a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Uniquely positioned self-catering accommodation in the heart of the famous lagoon beaches, just north of the old fishing village of El Cotillo in the un-touristy northwest of Fuerteventura. Guests can walk directly from the accommodation onto a white-sand beach with a safe, clear, tidal lagoon, ideal for lazy days swimming and soaking up the sun. “Although this apartment technically is closest to the sea, the large palm trees do obscure a LOT of the best view and the only other window fro the second bedroom has a very tight, fixed, mozzy screen which sort of diffuses the otherwise good view, BUT it's still a better view than many of the other apartments, save for another second story apartment to the South of the building which really should have the best of all worlds. (Don't know the number) I gather some other apartments have a second back up power source to keep the fridges running even when the genny goes off.”
