Very pleasant stay at the Finca Malinche. Beautiful terraced accommodations with stunning views over the lake. Our room, Alejandro’s nest was absolutely charming, with a private balcony to enjoy the view of lake and views of the passing wildlife including many species-of birds, iguanas, monkeys etc. Plus the 2 adorable big dogs that are resident at the Finca. Facilities are great with a shared infinity pool, well placed hammocks, exciting communal areas, access to the lake and sports equipment like canoes, boogie board, flippers, masks etc. The included breakfast was excellent cooked by the very helpful staff. No other meals or bar facilities are available but there are restaurants and bars at other nearby locations and delivery to the Finca is possible. Donaldo, the manager is very knowledgeable of the area, country, friendly and very helpful with good English. Wifi was excellent. We highly recommend the Finca for a very relaxing visit in a stunning location.…

What a beautifull place is this! Like a paradise. We stayed 4 nights in Mark’s studio. A spacious studio which is very nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. We feld very welcome! All the staff is friendly and very helpfull. And the 2 dogs are making the place even more pritty. Our studio has a beautifull view over the lake. The swinmingpool is gorcious and also the central area were the breakfast is served and you can use all day is a place that is decorated with love and attention. And in top off all this: you can just walk info the lake for a swim or use one of the canoes for free. We say: Go to this place. Visit Granada and go to the vulcano’s. Or just relax 1 or 2 days around the swimming pool and at the lake.

This place is utterly amazing, the views truly take your breath away, the place itself is something out of a film with the cobblestone houses and flowers pathing the pathways, the rooms are very cute but what makes it all worth it are those views of the lake whilst lounging in a hammock. The walk down to the lake is enchanting but even better is actually being in that lake. This place is amazing and a must stay when in nicaragua.

Amazing place with a nice owner, nice and helpful stuff and two lovely dogs directly at the lagoon. There is no beach, but you have some stairs to go down to the water, there you can have a swim in clear water and there are a lot of places to relax upstairs. I had the room "Camita" with a really nice private terrace from that you can see the sunset. If you have little luck monkeys are crossing the area 😊

Absolutely love this place. The rooms are always clean and the beds are comfy. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. I usually bring my own food and there is a small kitchen and a barbecue but think you can pay for someone to come and cook for you. It's a lot quieter than the big places so you have privacy. There is access to the lake but the beach is a bit rocky in front. The pool is great if you don't want to go down to the lake and they do have kayaks if you want to paddle around. The views are spectacular and my favorite part is having a cup of coffee while watching the sun rise and listening to the monkeys in the forest.

We came here on the recommendation of a German couple we met on the Corn Islands and have to say it lived up to all their praise. They have several rooms to rent and the studio we had was spacious with a small kitchen area (kettle, fridge and toaster). Nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and Donaldo our English speaking host was on hand to give great tips and (for a fee) take us to a couple of local areas of interest including the Masaya volcano and a pottery studio. Loved being able to swim in the lake with the friendly Finca dogs or take out a kayak. The inclusive breakfast was fresh and tasty too, be great to come again👍🏻🤩
