This is a little slice of paradise in Nicaragua. We spent a pleasant afternoon swimming, kayaking and lunching here. The owner/intern was most hospitable and staff were pleasantly attentive. While I didn’t stay over night, I imagine it would be serene to wake up to that view. Gracias for a refreshing and relaxing few hours.
I stayed at Laguna Beach for more than two weeks as they were able to arrange for a wonderful Spanish teacher to provide the daily lessons I wanted. It was truly an amazing experience. The lake is incredible: warm, clear and in the most beautiful tropical surroundings imaginable. I saw howler and capuchin monkeys in the garden and exotic birds everywhere. The staff were kind, funny and tried to help my stammering Spanish as much as they could! And as if all of that was not enough, they have Kika the amazing freediving dog! I am so grateful for the fabulous time I spent here - thank you all! I will miss you all, (but especially Kika!!)
The entire experience here is delightful....from the easy check in all the way to the monkey in the trees at the end of the day. The food and drinks service is excellent and there are many comfortable lounging areas, including wonderful VIP Private Cabanas. The beach here is less rocky than many others in the area and there is free use of the kayaks and paddle boards. It's the perfect place to enjoy a warm and sunny day
Visited as part of a discover Granada tour, day long. A good break for the afternoon. Water very warm, a bit choppy but lots to do there and strong wifi. Very clean, spacious and reasonably easy to access.
The place itself is beautiful, We had a pleasant stay for the day but I believe the customer service was very lacking. The waiter was nowhere to be found therefore if we wanted to order something we had to go look for him and when we order our food it took way to long to be served. At check out from the place, the receptionist looked like he would rather be anywhere but there.
We spent an afternoon at Laguna Beach Club in Aug 2019. I was very pleased with the visit. Admission was inexpensive and included parking, wifi, access to bath/changing rooms, bar/restaurant, beach, swimming, kayaks. The view is beautiful and swimming is great. The beach area is small and wifi is inconsistent close to the beach.
Laguna Beach Club is one of my favorite places to enjoy a full day at Apoyo lagoon. Its a good place to relax and forget all you problems. The food is delicious. Also there is cold drinks like micheladas. The last time I was there, I had chicken skewers. The prices of the food and drinks were affordable. For the day pass, I paid $6 dollars that includes water sports facilities. The staff was very nice and friendly.
We enjoyed our stay at Laguna Beach club! The private room was comfortable with good aircon, although cold shower. We made use of the free kayaks and the restaurant food was very good. Recommend staying here.
The club house was a real treat... an amazing place and a surprise highlight of a great tour organised by Tourissa! The place is in a beautiful spot on the lake shore, surrounded by beautiful gardens. There are hammocks and seating areas dotted around fro increased privacy- although we almost had the place to ourselves. There are showers and changing rooms available and also free coffee on tap. the restaurant and bar area was comfortable and served freshly prepared foods- great grilled foods and salads as well as refreshing juices, smoothies or beers and cocktails. A really great place to stay (and you can stop over too!)
This was a great afternoon stop out tour guide took us to. Food and drinks were awesome. Nice little hidden gem here. We had it all to ourselves for a little bit. :) Bar staff were really friendly and make you feel at home.
