This small hotel is conveniently located in the heart of town, within an easy walk to just about anyplace in town you might want to go. The staff is friendly and courteous and the owner, Marcelo, is charming and helpful. The rooms are pleasant and the beds are comfortable. You may encounter a bug or two, but I suspect this...

As with previous reviews, what stood out most about Kaimana Inn was the owner, Marcelo. He is a truly genuine guy and made us feel extremely welcome. He gave us a very personalized tour and it is obvious that he has a deep knowledge and appreciation of the island's history and the Rapa Nui people. The room itself was cozy...

The hotel itself is rather basic - there's a clean room with a fridge, a bathroom and a common area, but for the price this seemed very good, especially considering that things in Easter Island are generally more expensive than in mainland Chile for obvious reasons. The inn had a nice homey atmosphere and we had a very comfortable stay...

Had a great time. We had a good hot breakfast every morning. Friendly and helpful. Appreciated the location in "downtown" Hanga Roa and having wifi access. Marcelo picked us up at the airport and gave us a short tour.

You have a room and all the basics but most importantly you have Marcelo. He's the man who can direct you to where you need to be. We loved every minute of our time on the island thanks in part to Marcelo getting us on the right tour. We were there during the annual festival, be sure to plan your...

Really enjoyed staying at the Kaimana Inn. We had spent a week in Chile for our honeymoon and finished off the trip with a few days on Easter Island. This worked out perfectly as we had a really relaxing time on the island and Marcelo helped with that a lot. We got picked up at the airport complete with a...

Unfortunately for us the owners were not on the island. We did not get the service we saw in the reviews prior to booking. After the 1st day we rarely so those who were responsible for the hotel. We did get a ride to and from the airport, a distance of about 1 mile. It is on the main street...

From the moment Marcelo meets you at the airport, he takes care of you, and it seems that you've just been invited to his home. He, his family and his staff makes you really feel that way. Along with the perfect location, in the main street, is also a very quiet place. The breakfast is served in the central patio,...

Marcelo met us at the airport, gave us a quick tour of the area so we could get our bearings then took us to our room, which was clean and decent sized. The beds were comfortable, the location was great (not on the sea but so easy to walk to local restaurants and the beach). Marcelo took us on a...

Marcelo is a very gracious host! We had a wonderful stay and felt right at home from the time Marcelo picked us up at the airport. He joined us for breakfast and shared much information about Easter Island. It was a great place to meet new friends and relax. Location was great as we could walk to many places in...
