We arrived Sept 10 for 3 nights , the hotel was ready to pick up us at the airport with flowers and in 20 minutes or less we were st the hotel which is well located in the Center of the town , It does look like we were in a jungle , very nice , But this early in... More

If you're looking for a major luxury hotel chain, you've come to the wrong place. I happened to love the Hotel Manavai, though, because it has a very island feel to it. Yes, it's a bit rustic with wood paneling and a tiki support beam, but that's what gave it its charm. Very convenient to the main street in town.... More

This was booked by Rickshaw travel and was really not up to standard, in fact it was a complete dump. Staff were OK but had problems with shower which they said was fixed but wasn't. They then claimed they'd "upgraded" me by putting me in an identical room with tiny old fridge. Wifi never worked

Best convenience to the main shopping and dining street, harbor, post office, and park. There is a pool we did not use. The WiFi signal is weak. With that said, even though we overall had a great trip to Rapa Nui, we probably would not stay here again and would not recommend it to friends and family without informing them... More

As most have noted the only advantage of staying here is the hotel's location close to good restaurants, car rentals, craft markets and the like. The staff was friendly and efficient although none appeared to speak a word of English. Pantomime requests worked well. The rooms are reasonably large and well appointed but have an overall musty unpleasant smell. The... More

Location is good - accessible to the town. The hotel looks nice from the outside but is disgusting in the rooms. It has this nice garden, very lush, the patio restaurant makes it look nice but the rooms are gross. I travel extensively and have never stayed in anything so dirty. Dirt was layered in the furniture, on the fan,... More

We already were in this hotel 14 years ago and choose the same (without knowing it!) They have expanded. The hotel main advantage is the good and central location. Rooms are bit stinky (moisture) but after one day of A/C it's better. The breakfast is rather poor although it improved during our stay... Overall it's ok price/value wise since you... More

We paid more for a room with air conditioning. I was glad to have it since someone else mentioned the walls being thin. The Internet was very poor since you are on Easter Island, and that's a good thing. For an internet addict, if you have an unlocked phone, you can walk a few blocks to an Entel store and... More

As others have mentioned, the hotel is at a great location in Hanga Roa. Quick walk to excellent ocean-side restaurants, the artisan market, rental cars, and grocery stores. Cab fare from IPC was $3,000 (we missed the driver they had sent for us). Jordi at the front desk was very knowledgable, friendly, and polite. Our basic room was comfortable, with... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had an okay time (read below for details). However, my entire stay was completely ruined on my third day by Annie, the hotel manager's wife. I was outside the front of the hotel in the sidewalk/parking lot area giving a cookie to one of the dogs who roam the downtown area... More
