A nice one night stay in Easter Island. The room was well cleaned. The reception was nice. No A/C, but with a window open it is fine. Next to some very vocal roosters, so I suggest ear plugs!!! Hotel is located down the beaten path, but close to the city and main roads.

The hotel is in one of the quietest locations with easy walk to the high street and aeroport. In fact, this is the first time I have ever walked between the hotel and aeroport! The hotel has the tropical look with lot of plants and flowers along with simple furnishing. My room has king size bed and one of the...

2016-12-11 02:08:56 Aprobado Hello, We'd like to thank you for your very kind review. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel and we look forward to welcome you again soon. About breakfast, products are expensive on our island, so you have what you pay. Travelling around the world, you will find other prices, but...

Easter Island is pretty expensive, making it difficult to find something for a budget that's not one of those camping sites. This was a great find. The room/bathroom was clean and comfortable and they even provided some basic amenities. It is a little outside of main town (~25 minute walk) but it's really easy to get the front desk to...

My mother in law booked 2 rooms -one for her and one for us . After she booked, she didn't see the confirmation form ,so she thought that there was an error and rebooked. When she understood her mistake , she immediatly adressed the owner Antoine and asked him to cancel the double reservation. But Antoine refused and charged us...

This hotel is a very beautiful place, quiet and relaxing. It is quite away from the main road and town, so it's really peaceful. At night, you can see so many stars. The owner is nice and helpful. The place is very clean. It was perfect for our honeymoon. It's a bit cold at night.

Positive aspects of the hotel: (basic) clean and nice rooms, lovely garden with beautiful flowers and two special furry hosts (a funny black cat and Cookie, a kind-of-German-Shepard dog), pretty quiet (dogs barking and roosters are normal everywhere). We sent messages to Antoine before leaving and he promptly answered our mails. He helped us arrange a cheap rental car. However,...

I booked because it was a reasonable price (comparative to the rest of the island) and I figured I just needed a place to sleep but I would recommend staying elsewhere. It's just too far away, and not cheap enough considering the service they give you. Antoine couldn't be friendlier, but his wife and other help just left a bad...

Dear Guest, We want to thank you for your comment about your stay at our hotel and your thought is very significant for us. About our prices, you have what you pay, depending on your budget. My wife gave you away a coffee( 2,5 euros), because you couldn't pay it. We understood to help you but you give back with...

Hotel Atavai was a fantastic spot for a few days on beautiful Easter Island. The hotel is owned by a French-Rapanui couple who are very attentive and helpful. Accommodation in our bungalow was lovely - great views over the valley and very comfortable. Great value for money, too.

The good bits: it's cheap. The rooms are basic with a bed and separate bathroom. The bad bits: the bedsheets and towels were laundered but had brown and grey stains on them. The location is close to the airport, but not really close enough to be walking distance with heavy bags down a dirt track. It's not close to the...

First, I think some of the reviewers here have been very unfair. Dogs and cockerels? They roam freely all over the island so there's be no escaping them anywhere, and as for cockerels crowing in the morning- that's kind of what cockerels do. The distance? There is a map you can look at before you book- and a 20-minute walk...

“There are some premium rooms with improved facilities (kettle, refrigerator) and some of them have sea view (even if the sea is far away). Don't choose the hotel if you do not have a car or expect to use taxis all the time”
