I stayed at the hotel for 5 days Mar, 2017. This relatively small boutique hotel provides great value for the price. 15 minute walk to town, 5 minutes to Ahu Tahai (moai) and the sea. Quiet, clean, relatively large rooms and well located with a nice veranda to watch the sunset, meet with other guests and discuss the day. All...

Paul, the owner, is a most gracious host. Full of knowledge that comes from over 45 years as an archaeologist on the island he's also quick to make suggestions regarding what to see on your days with out him, where to eat, etc. He even dropped us off in town for dinner each night although he certainly didn't have to....

We stay only 2 nights, but had a great time. The room is comfortable, the house is not far from town, walking distance, and walking distance of one of the best places to see sunset (Ahu Tahai). The breakfast very nice. Or host Paul was great, definitely advise the tour with him, Paul is just charismatic and as an amazing...

My friend and I stayed four days at this establishment, and it was the best decision of the trip. The operator has been on the island since 1963, and was an archeologist that worked on restoring many of the Moai - what better host and tour guide could one ask for? The location was fantastic. Away from the main drag...

We spent about five nights here. The hotel is just out of Hanga Roa a little ways, we actually walked to town every day. The hotel is tucked off a quiet road far from people and vehicle noises. Guests have access to a deck/veranda for relaxing on a quiet afternoon. Our tendencey is to move around in the morning and...

We spent five nights in this small hotel where Paul, the owner, is omnipresent both as a host and as story-teller about the history of the island and how his own life is inter-woven with it. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean albeit a little bit dark as the window faces a courtyard where some trees provide shade. Breakfast...

Great place to stay just out of the centre of town. Clean and comfortable with good breakfast and free wifi. The thing that makes this place THE place to stay however is the owner Paul. He is such a friendly and interesting guy with a vast knowledge of the island. He will pick you up from the airport and give...

I highly recommend Tekarera if you are visiting Easter Island. Make sure that you are staying at the Tekarera that is owned by Paul. Paul will take care of you and make sure you have a good stay. We stayed for 3 days and 3 nights. We chose a package that included lodging, car rental and tours. Paul picked us...

We have just stayed three days at the hotel, in a self catering house. This was very comfortable and a great base to tour the island. Breakfast was brought to our house and was very good. Paul is a friendly and helpful host. On one of our days we went out on a tour with him, saw most of the...

Paul was a lovely host and he was very accommodating. We had a late flight and since someone was checking into our room that day, we were allowed to use another shower to freshen up before our flight. We had two rooms during our stay. One was very large with lots of space, whilst the other was smaller but with...
