I stayed here with my wife for our honeymoon last April. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is nice but they have a serious problem with the insects. We had every day our bed full of ants and little spiders. We told that in reception and they said it's normal. I can understand to find some bugs in...

We stayed at this hotel after moving from another hotel cabanas pikeri uri. Hence we'd like to compare these two - one cheaper but more local while altiplanico is a more luxury one. First altiplanico contains a worthwhile luxury look and condition but we felt less personal touch compared to pikeri. Second the view at altiplanico has great view similar...

I stayed here with my parents (I'm an adult) for 3 nights in February 2016. We were in rooms 1 and 2. As you can read below it's a little ways out of town but the walk is easy and nice by the ocean. The food was excellent, much better than what we experienced in town. The wifi is indeed...

The initial welcome from reception was very warm, accompanied by a refreshing, chilled fruit drink. The individual room, in the traditional shape of an inverted boat was basic, but clean and spacious. As I entered the room an overpowering smell of pesticide warned me of the invading night creatures. It had mosquito nets over the bed, ceiling fan and a...

Hotel Altiplanico is an extremely good hotel some way out of the town of Hanga Roa. The web site says that is “4 km away from downtown Hanga Roa (which is about correct) - a 10 minute walk” which is a very rapid walk! In fact, it takes at least 30-35 minutes to get to the edge of the town...

My husband I stayed here as part of the National Geographic Easter Island extension after our trip to Antarctica. The staff is really friendly and the location and the views as well as the property itself is just gorgeous! The food is wonderful and includes lots of fruits, veggies and deserts, though the breakfast was limited. No hot selections really....

The hotel is located on a hill with a beautiful view on the ocean. There is a short walk down to see one of the statues directly on the ocean. It is possible to walk to the village along the coast in maybe 20-30 minutes (slow walk) which is very scenic along the ocean shore. The staff was very helpful....

A very nice hotel, with a great view on the sea. Rooms are large and very comfortable, with a partially outdoor shower. They are quite romantic. Pleasant lobby and restaurant, as well as a small pool. The service was overall excellent, the staff also organised a car rental for us, with the car being delivered directly at the hotel and...

We have been here for a few days on the first stop of our honeymoon. The bungalow was big and had a rainshower under the open sky. Staff was friendly and attentive. We did not eat at the restaurant but the menue looked great. Its recommend that you rent a car, as you should anyway when visiting this island.
