A one night stay in order to visit nearby Longleat. We stayed in the Peacock room, at £160 a night. The room was comfortable but extremely hot. After turning off the radiator we had to open the window, but unfortunately the room overlooks the outside smoking area.. we had a choice...overheat or listen to the laughter and loud talking plus...

I booked a nights' stay here in August 2016 for my partners' birthday, as I was planning a day at the Zoo the following day and it seemed to be in a good location and not too far from Longleat. The area of the hotel is lovely and quaint, in an idyllic village setting which was perfect for a quiet...

On first arriving I was not impressed with room.See picture below, this is the room that we was suppose to have and we was checked into a room outside in a converted barn. The concubine, I had seen a picture of room we was meant to have and this was a big disappointment. Very small a tiny wardrobe no draws to...

Pleasant stay over New Year, lovely old building room quaint but clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner tasty and breakfast excellent only wish food could have been a little hotter but they were catering for large numbers.

We booked in August and the process was smooth - emails and phone calls, all explained and confirmed with balance paid in December. It was with trepidation that we arrived (as various TA comments indicate, the good, the bad and the ugly) but on arrival things were looking good. The booking in takes place at the bar, and any of...

Overall a good stay. Spoilt by a noise room location room 4 above the bar area. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms a bit dated and could do with a bit of renovation . Carparking a bit tight but manageable. Would stay again but probably not over Christmas

Proper Sausages! Bedroom's ok, all the stuff available, i.e. hairdryers, service tray etc, hot water, good value for the money - only comment would be dust the top of the...

Great location in a beautiful part of England. Quirky rooms in a converted barn. Main hotel has great cutomer service and is very warm and hospitable. Food is good with a good selection of drinks. You will pay slightly more for this hotel but when you wake up and partake in the excellent breakfast and beautiful morning views you will...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Bath Arms is a unique Country Pub, with accommodation and a restaurant, located on Lord Bath's magnificent Longleat Estate in the charming Wiltshire village of Horningsham. We aspire to offer quirky accommodation. The rooms are nothing if not original and a little unconventional. While simple and beautifully cooked, British locally sourced food is our culinary philosophy. Our beers come from local breweries, we rear our own pigs. If our vegetables are not grown on site, they are sourced within a 50 mile radius. ... more   less
