I was looking for a get away for my husband and I for our 5th anniversary and came across this incredible little in while searching Trip Advisor…..on impulse I booked it. We could not have been happier !! We started the day with a hike in nearby Elora, then a stroll around town , topped off with a cool glass...

We absolutely loved our stay here. The 1 night getaway midweek special was a great deal! The food, suite and staff all were amazing! I couldn't believe the inn only offers breakfast to inn guests only (they will turn the public away even if the place is empty!). It works out amazing on our end as i sat on a...

What can I say other than disinterested staff with painfully slow service. Half an hour to get a drink after sitting down in fly and wasp riddled conservatory.Tepid dried out food resembling something my daughter would bring back from a cooking class at kindergarten. Just awful. The chicken surprise was certainly a surprise. The staff at this restaurant had actually...

Stopped by for Lunch, the outside shaded patio was cool on a very hot day, the meal was great, the service was great though a little slow. The portions were very generous and I recommend if you are having an appetizer and the lasagna order a half order of the lasagna.

I was there only for a special dinner and was very pleased with the atmosphere even though it is a high end restaurant. The service was wonderful although we went early so it wasn't that busy. I would expect the inn would be a grand place to stay as well.

Booked on relatively short notice and so the only option we were given was "The Master Suite". It was a gorgeous day/evening but the windows were painted shut and there was no A/C so the room was stuffy --- you might want to steer clear of it in the dead of summer. Service was so-so. Went into the pub around...

My wife and I stopped for the evening in Fergus. We were treated poorly at the only other hotel in town and went looking for other accommodations. When we found this place they were just closing for the night, but they took us in, treated us like family, and restored my faith in humans! More than an excellent staff, the...

Room was what we expected.... location is has great acceptability to local attractions such as Elora Gorge, shopping and great local food! You can utilize the local trails for hiking, bike riding and touring without the use of a car. The Grand River very close has world-class brown trout fishing as witnessed first-hand! This is a cosy Inn that should...

Staff were very helpful and friendly! Service was excellent and even though it was busy didn't feel rushed. We did not stay in the hotel, we were meeting friends for dinner. Reservations would be recommended for weekend dinners.

The Inn is a delightful historic building, almost overlooking the scenic Grand River (right across the street). Entering the front hall is like stepping back in time - high ceilings, exposed beams, lots of antiques, interesting art and artifacts on the walls, etc. But behind the facade lurks unexpected surprises for the traveller. It was with some difficult that I...
