Comfortable stay, convenient location and good size clean room with all basics covered - fresh linen, tea /coffee making facilities etc. Carpets through the corridors look tired but the new Manager Baz has brightened up reception and was very friendly and welcoming.

Had to try 3 different rooms, all absolutely disgusting. Rubbish on the floor in all 3 rooms including a dirty sock. Obviously hadn’t been hoovered, crumbs on the bedside table. £85 for an absolute vile room - even worse in the current situation with covid, they should be spending more time cleaning. Never staying in a travelodge again. Could not be more repulsed

If I could give this place a minus review, I would. Arrived late in evening and given key to room, on entry ro room, there were dirty boot Mark's all over floor, bathroom had pubic hair in bath and on floor, thankfully bed looked clean, had to dash out so no time to complain. Woken in morning by hammer drill noise, and decided to have a nice hot shower, the water from the hot tap dribbled out the shower as there was no hot water pressure at all. On leaving room we opened the door to see workmen busy in corridor creating loads of dust and wearing dust masks, we had to walk through the corridor holding our breath so hot to breath in dust. When I spoke to the girl on reception she informed me that the water situation was better than yesterday as now at least the cold water wasn't brown anymore! Apparently we should of been informed when we booked and arrived that work was going on, neither happened. Well Travelodge, we shouldn't of even been given a room in such a disgusting state in the middle of a refurbishment , Travelodge failed to provide even the most basic requirements for a hotel, namely a clean welcoming safe environment with clean facilities, undisturbed rest and running hot water. I am still waiting on the telephone call with the manager I was promised, but like the other empty Travelodge assurances I don't suppose it will happen and as usual the big name companies will brush it under the carpet unlike the dust and mess in their hotels.

1 night stay. When I asked the male receptionist about the breakfast box and WiFi - I don’t know I’m only covering here. Plastic shower curtain and stained toilet. Constant noise from motorway and roundabout. What can you expect from £58 pn. I thought when I turned on the One Show last night and saw John Cleese I was in his hotel. Female this morning was much more pleasant.

The Travelodge was marvelous sited ideally for me visiting my mum in Saint Neots. The staff are very efficient and helpful. The room (number 3) was very clean, spacious for my bicycle and me. It had all the usual room equipment like tv etc.
