The hosts at Kicheche Laikipia made me feel at home. The food is delicious, the tents are beautiful and the experience here is just wonderful. Andy and Sonja take every detail into consideration, from the handwritten welcome card to the fresh flowers in my tent. I fell in love with this place! The guides were so knowledgable and kind and...

We stayed here for 3 nights in Sept 2013. Every single employee called us by name. And the food was the best of all 3 camps we visited. WAY over the top menus and meals for a small camp of only 6 tents. A very personal touch. Charming dining with a fire going every night in addition to the fantastic...

Spacious, light, clean, pretty tents with potted plants inside. Tents are a good distance apart and there was no noise from the neighbouring tents. There are 6 tents and usually 3 vehicles, so a maximum of 4 people to a vehicle. Beanbags are supplied in the vehicle for photographers. You can’t drink the water as it’s too salty (from a...

We stayed here in early November and were greeted by Andy and Sonja with a pair of wellies which we wore the whole three nights we were there. We were not really prepared for the wet or the cold but the wellies and the hot water bottles ( in the beds and in the early morning vehicles) minimised the problem....

We stayed three nights at Kicheche Laikipia Camp and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Sonja, Andy and the staff make it a point to ensure your visit is exceptional. The tents were great, clean and comfortable, with hot water bottles in your bed a night as the weather was a little chilly. The safaris are flexible depending on what...

Andy & Sonja plus a first class and highly motivated team made this a memorable stay in Ol Pejeta. Super food; a really nice touch is the large dining table for a convivial dinner. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys - attentive and responsive; the "tents" are generously sized with en-suite, there's a camp fire, a lounge area,...

Andy and Sonja, as ever, are great hosts, ably helped by Andrew - the Assistant Manager. I had another great stay there. The camp staff work efficiently and nothing is too much trouble for them. I love the hot water bottles waiting in the bed, really welcoming on a chilly night! Sonja's food is very special, her 'nuts and wild...

We spent 3 lovely nights at Kicheche Laikipia Camp at the start of our holiday and from the moment we arrived, it had a great feeling about it. It wasn't pretentious and having been on safari before, it was exactly what we had hoped for. Sonja and Andrew are very down to earth people and because the camp is also...

We stayed at the camp in early November 2013. Its a small camp with 6 tents. The tents are comfortable but be aware the showers were bucket showers. Quaint and fun but we were unlucky and while there, it rained a lot! Really would have appreciated a long hot shower… The hosts Andy and Sonja were really lovely. Very helpful...

Dear Kerstin B Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to post your review. We are sorry that it rained a lot during your stay though we are all fortunate that our wildlife does not go away come rain, hail or shine. The comment you made regarding bucket showers is really puzzling as we do not have...

We can only reiterate all the superlatives that have been used before - a lovely comfortable camp with Andy & Sonya as excellent hosts. It was very wet when we were there and the loan of wellies for our stay was much appreciated. The food was superb and there was always a good choice. We had good game viewing although...
