I spent 2 nights at the end of August in this hotel, a few years after the last time and I found it much improved. The hotel has a large free car park, also covered, a large hall facing the restaurant/breakfast area and only two floors The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet (I think the hotel was fully booked for a convention of a large company...a confectionery shop in the area but we heard practically no noise), the breakfast is plentiful and the coffee is excellent: for work I am often in hotels even theoretically better on paper but I have never had an espresso like the one served here! You can see that there is a remarkable quality of raw material behind it. Special mention to the staff, all in general but especially that of the breakfast area: unfortunately, through no fault of theirs, there was a mix-up that could have caused me big personal problems but they immediately worked to resolve it (as well as apologizing for faults that were not theirs but only the result of the incivility and carelessness of other customers) Thanks again and see you soon, my colleagues and I will definitely come back to you the next time we are in Alba!

We stayed at this hotel when we went on a bus trip with Scandorama / Sweden. A nice and clean hotel, the room was large but lacked a kettle, 7 km from the center of Alba. Difficult to get to Alba on your own, no buses that left directly after 5pm. No shops or restaurants open except the hotel's. The breakfast was typically Italian with very sweet pastries, they had made eggs and bacon but conference guests from Italy ate it up, we were early for breakfast but there was nothing left. Juice and coffee ran out all the time, staff was not organized.

Dear team at the Casta Hotel Dear Ramona It's been two weeks since we were your guests. At every rehearsal, my singing colleagues praise the wonderful time we were able to spend with you. The loving hospitality, the generous aperitif and the lovely hours in the hotel bar will stay in our memories for a long time. That's why I want to pass on my thanks to you. Dirty. The elevator doors used as a noticeboard for the wifi password and full of traces of adhesive tape... hall table with traces of orange liquid dragged by a clumsy attempt at cleaning... 11 euros for three hard wantons filled with very cold cream cheese inedible. We stayed one night in this hotel which was not far from the truffle fair, the structure is not dated overall very nice, clean rooms. The problem with this facility is the staff, rude is a compliment, the girl who does service in the evening in the dining room and in the morning at breakfast in particular I don't know her name with arrogant attitudes towards customers and colleagues. In the morning I checked out, loud comments with swear words from the lady who took care of the reception and farewell, my two friends only had to pay for their room divided by two. Perhaps for a structure like this we would need staff who welcome the customer with decency, since we paid €160 for one night.

Cata hotel! The worst hotel night of my life! We arrived at 7:30 p.m., the two rooms were not ready. They had obviously forgotten our reservation made a month earlier. We received two “PRM” rooms on the ground floor. One of the two rooms (111) was right next to the party room where a disco evening was taking place. The bass was rocking our room and the music was loud. Don't sleep until 2 a.m.! Nothing in the mini bar. Cold at night. Horrible pillows, super rigid bedding. Four beds in the room. No excuses, no commercial gesture. We will never go back there again. We come to Alba every year for business.

Very nice spa suite room, well-kept and clean. However, breakfast and dinner could be improved. Friendly and courteous staff, convenient location. Free outdoor and covered parking, useful. The silence of the structure is a strong point.

Large appreciable parking Large entrance hall with very welcoming staff (thank you Amber). Spacious and well appointed room. Top bedding. Very large bathroom. Breakfast is plentiful, there is choice. We haven’t tested the restaurant but we will do it next time. By car you are 10 minutes from the center of the small town of Alba. I recommend!

This has been the 5th year we are at the Casta Hotel in Alba / Castagnito. The hotel is located about 6 miles outside of Alba on the road that parallels the expressway. This parallel road gives you access to the expressway , (the exit is on the intersection road of the hotel. You will also find the super markets, the clothing stores, the electronics stores, fuel, smaller neighborhood restaurants, and just about anything you might consider that you need, even a Burger King if you so desire. The price is great for the value you get, we have stayed here nine times. We are remembered, and we enjoy the staff. Parking is underneath of the hotel. Rooms are quiet and there are two elevators. Breakfast is alway both high quality and quantity with a choice of juices, milks and multiple types of good coffee. You can walk across the street to the casino, bowling alley, night club, or take the other corner to visit the enoteca. Driving 10 minutes will get you to Alba center, and we have never had a problem parking in Alba. This is a perfect place to do daily wine trips. We come for the white truffle fair in October - November which is ONLY on the weekends. Also not to be missed is the Saturday market in Alba, from sun up to about 1 PM. Why do we come back? I think its a combination for the people, the food , the views. Think Tuscany 30 years ago, and that's Piemonte today.

We originally thought we wanted to stay in Asti, and booked a B&B on a hilltop, nice photo but we would have killed ourselves driving up there at night. Asti was a dirty industrial town. We opted to try Alba just down the autostrada, and found this GEM. Clean safe, easy access, great breakfast, and VERY nice english speaking staff. You can ask for a non smoking room, but even those are not truly non smoking. We have been here twice and it is our place in ALBA, we are booked back in 2008.
