We didn't know much about the Cook Islands so had never really considered Rarotonga as a holiday destination - but it wasn't until a random deal popped up on the Luxury Escapes app for The Little Polynesian (or The Little Poly - as it's known to the locals) that we even considered it. For the past 10 years we've always...

My wife surprised me with this vacation, and we both ended up surprised (we are in our early 50's)! We have never had such a wonderful experience. We were looking for a place that was warm, beautiful beaches, and quiet. We got that and more. I feel what made this vacation so blessed was not only the resort, but the...

My husband and I stayed at the Little Polynesian Resort last week on vacation and could not have had a better experience. Any request we had was cheerfully met and we were given a room upgrade--beach front! The entire staff was wonderful and accommodating. The owner was on site frequently, also. The chef made outstanding meals. We will definitely be...

A small hotel with 10 beautiful bungalows on the lagoon. What is perhaps most remarkable is the willingness of the staff to accommodate all your wishes. Anyway some drawbacks. Bungalows are close from one another and you and you can hear what's happening next door. There is a small river next which brings a lot of mud when it is...

Simply one of the best resorts we have stayed in. Our flight was delayed so they rang our driver to enquire what was happening so we were confident we had picked a great resort. There are only 14 rooms, 10 of which are overlooking the lagoon, at one of the prettiest outlooks on the island. We stayed in room 10...

My sister and I stayed at the Little Polynesian Resort, Rarotonga for 8 nights in January. We were meant to travel with our mother but she was unable to travel at the last minute due to health reasons. Unfortunately, this meant my sister and I had to travel alone (both of us being under 21). The hotel was made aware...

From the moment we arrived from check in to check out, we received awesome service. From the manager to the reception staff and house keeping. We were shown around our Beach Bungalow which was professional and left to settle in. Wow what a location and such a lovely and clean bungalow. We swam, read and snorkelled the beautiful lagoon for...

We stayed at Little Polynesian Resort, Rarotonga for 4 nights in December 2016. I can't really fault anything. They have the best customer service ever, amazing food and a stunning view. I would definitely stay at this resort again!

What a magical resort. We came here for a baby moon when I was 7 months. The team were so amazing. They went out of their way to help us with anything we requested. We had a beachfront bure which was luxurious. The view straight on to the beach was fabulous but also private enough to feel like we were...

The Little Poly Resort consists of 14 self-contained beautiful suites - ours had a private front patio and a fabulous outdoor shower, complete with tropical plants, in the back! The suite itself, was large, spacious and very comfortable! The location is perfect - steps from the gorgeous beach in the South Pacific (located in a lagoon - water wonderful for...
