The best schnitzel and bratwurst!! Very friendly staff and so German!! Excellent way to begin our first days in Germany. After stuffing ourselves, we strolled around the Hochst Castle grounds and riverside.

Stayed in the apartment part of the hotel with 4 friends. Was the weekend of the Brexit vote....but we were still made very welcome! We've toured Europe for many years and this hotel is definitely the best we've ever stayed in. Klaus the owner is a fantastic host even helping out when I injured my shoulder on the bike. The...

Only stayed here for one night as part of a motorcycle tour. Klotten is located in the beautiful Mosel Valley. On arrival we were shown to our 'house' at the top of the village, away from main hotel. This was a two bedroom, house with separate garage underneath to store 4 bikes within. A short walk to hotel and we...

This is the 2nd time here on another motorcycling tour of the Mosel and Rhine valley. The rooms are all on-suite clean and adequate. The restaurant is just great and a wide variety of food is always available with a wine list to be proud of. Bikers are well catered for with a large garage specifically for bikes. All comers car,...

Well that was an interesting stay where we met a 'unhinged' Dutchman and a hotel with an open door policy.... OK it was the Dutchman who decided to accidentally break the garage door off the hinges which meant that the door couldn't be locked for four days but that was a minor inconvenience. This is a biker friendly hotel with...

I stayed here with a friend on a motorcycle holiday, we used this as a base for the week. There is indoor parking for motorcycles and bicycles and the rooms are very comfortable. I have also reviewed this hotel highly in the restaurant section of trip advisor.

Superb hotel in such a fantastic location. It's the owner that makes this hotel one of the best I've ever stayed in though. Such a friendly, kind and fascinating chap to talk to. I was made to feel very welcome there and that really made my entire trip special. The owner of the hotel is a fellow motorcycle enthusiast and...

My husband had been to zur Post before and wanted to take me there during our biking tour of Germany, You can see the Mosselle from the balcony, as well as the trains that pass daily, but as my husband knew the hotel we asked for a room at the rear so the trains weren't a problem. The good thing...

This hotel is one of the best biker hotels we have stayed in. Klaus and his staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The food is extraordinary! The rooms are compact but very clean. The garage for bike storage is ideal. Perfect location on the mosel

A week Bike Club tour in the Mosel spent with Klaus and his excellent staff. Always helpful, he's a biker and a Chef who provided super 4 course meals every evening. Security for the bikes in his huge garage, what more can you ask. Internet available for the technos. Couple of problems with bikes, Klaus had a contact where both...
