Really, we join the many others raving about this place. We were in room two for three nights and felt like we were the only people staying in the facility. Liam and Dei couldn't have been nicer, and Dei was always looking after us (for...More
Given that car travel in Dublin is a nightmare, I still needed a car for country travel so Liam's closed car park was excellent. Brookville house is at the junction of the major bus routes to dun laoire and Dublin and on wet days Liam...More
Brookville Guest House, excellent service from the start. I was picked up from the train station by Liam, taken straight to the house and checked in. Then as I was going to check out my way to the school I attended for the next 3...More
Rooms well appointed, great food and service, never quite had enough time to enjoy the hot tub and sauna, but was looked after from the moment I arrived to the last moment when I left.
Nothing was to much trouble, good old fashion Irish hospitality

I did a course recently in the Dublin Cookery School, it's not far from UCD Smurfit GBS.
There aren't many places to stay in that area, the B & B was the closest I found, other that that there are hotels a train stop or two away.
Dei and Liam the owners are so helpful, you can ask them anything.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask more if you need to, I'll do my best to answer.
Safe trip and enjoy.
