Vey old hotel, whilst quaint, in need of a revamp. Meals were very basic and kitchen staff could not deliver a vegetarian meal. Cheese sandwich contained ham and had to be returned to the kitchen. Shower curtain had black mold

The Paternoster Hotel is ideally located to take advantage of the 'passing parade'......with locals, fishermen and visitors creating an endless stream of activity in front of the hotel stoep. Really great vibe for 'stoepsit-en-kuiering' with lots of opportunity for meeting new people and bumping into old friends.

Food is really good. Restaurant is nothing fancy so don't expect anything posh. It's very basic but the food is good and portions are large. Staff are very friendly and service is quick and good. Try the seafood platter!

Good food and the Panty Bar is a must see. Friendly staff with food quality outstanding!! Must visit place when in Paternoster and close to crafty shops full of hidden treasures. The relaxing atmosphere on the veranda is outstanding.

Friendly staff, good service. The position of the sea view rooms - great. Wonderful view of the ocean. Sat watching the small fishing boats going out at night and then coming back in the morning. Very peaceful.

We went up for one night as I had to inspect the area prior to touring there. The hotel was absolutely fantastic - very comfortable room, wonderful staff and amazing meals - very affordable. I went back a few days ago and was given such a welcome. Highly recommended and will be back for a longer stay

Broken down and seedy the rooms are dreadful sparks coming out of the lights. The so called panti Bar was a seedy area with knickers on the ceiling looked like a good clean would not go amiss. Outside at night the locals throw beer bottles for entertainment more like Wild West than peaceful and tranquil ! The final straw is...

Good day, My wife and I recently celebrated our 6 wedding anniverasry and spending the nite at your hotel. We were very impressed by the hotel. It had a lovely rustic atmosphere and look about it. All the antique furniture around, especially in the dinning room intrigued us. The staff were very pleasant and happy go lucky characters. We stayed...

It was my first time in paternoster and will definitly come back. The place is close to the beach. Its a real close knit community. Everyone made you feel welcome. Nice small restuarants in walking distance. Will recommend it to others

A well managed hotel, classic location, white sand, blue sea. A thoroughly relaxing place to be, great walks, super views, good pool, lovely rooms and a good quality restaurant. A very welcoming place, calm, not good on windy days! It is certainly worth a one night stay at least!
