This hotel felt like a business stop-over hotel. Not as we expected as 1st impressions were good as the building is attractive from outsie. It served our needs but I would not go back.. The receptionist was really very helpful as we had taxi problems. The bedrooms were just OK but we were not impressed with plastic 'glassess' and paper...

This hotel claims 4 stars, but I cannot see why. I was there for 2 days for a conference and found it acceptable, but not good value for the price. The location is very handy if you're visiting the palais, but it tries too hard to be something it's not. The bathroom was very clean and modern, but a double...

The hotel is just opposite the Chateau of Rambouillet and the Hotel de Ville. The rooms are good, nothing amazing, but good. The bathrooms are also spacious and modern. The reception staff are friendly and speak English. Only problem is parking on market days (Tuesday and Thursday) when peaking is not allowed in the Hotel de Ville carpark across the...

Checking in was easy and without fuss. The room (a junior suite over-looking the town hall) was good sized and reasonably clean and comfortable, the bathroom had all the facilities required. However what baffles me is why no separate shower, the one over the bath was a potential death-trap as it was slippery with a limited limited grab handle. The...

Theis Mercure hotel was much better than the one in Versailles. However, it was still not spectacular. The beds were fine and so was the A/C and bathroom. The service, on the other hand, was rather sad. We liked the location - and they were tolerant of our Chemin de Compostelle group.

The hotel is located right next door to the Chateau Rambouillet. It was under reconstruction so I did not go inside however the grounds surrounding it are quite large and made for a walk or run. I attended a company meeting at the hotel and it's facilities were just fine for a group of our size (50-60). Conference room had...

I enjoyed the stay. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good food and very good service. Breakfast was good. Tea and coffee making in room. Quite and peaceful. About 15 minutes walking from the train station to go to Paris. Restaurants and cafes are nearby.

This hotel is located directly adjacent to an entrance to the grounds of the Rambouillet chateau. My room was a good size, as was the bathroom, and very quiet, overlooking a courtyard. The restaurant was fine -- not sensational but more than adequate. I enjoyed the town itself -- surprisingly good shopping with things on offer you don't find everywhere....
