I keep coming to this hotel with my family and friends for years. A very cosy, always beautifully decorated, very clean and neat, with family traditions. A fantastic spa to relax after skiing, delicious food. A dinner at its restaurant is always a spacious event thanks to the Chef and attentive and friendly personnel. Every week they are offering some interesting events for the guests. And they are always improving! Some small things, but every year something new!

Came back for another visit before Christmas, staying the Margarite rooms. It was quite comfortable for us and our cat. Food and service, was as always, excellent. Vegetarian is fairly easy and improving, although it remains clear that it takes second place in the menu. Often a simple adaptation of the mains would make an excellent vegan option, but chef tries for something oddly different.

EN- After several visits at the hotel, it had become a relaxing constant in our vacation plans! Mainly because we appreciate; the excellent food, the location (on the Austrian alps), the offered spa (massage, Sauna), & sport activities (Ski, Hiking), and their efforts to operate, as far as possible, on sustainable (usage of local suppliers) way. Plus the commitment to provide excellent service (in all fields). With all those offerings, and the positive offered service, we became "relaxed guests" which do only consume relaxation and a good time. Here and now we do acknowledge that the constant high qualitative environment, is for us the excellent trigger for relaxation and stress reduction, which turn us to become more happy and relaxed guests! We do look forward to spend some time in the future with the Dengg Family and Team, as far as we need again another wave of pure relaxing!! I first came to the Alpenhof in 2012. Since then I have come at least once every year. It’s a wonderful hotel with excellent service. I have tried other places but always come back because nothing is the same as the Alpenhof. The food is excellent. The staff are superb and the spa is sublime. What more can I say?

This was my third trip to Hintertux. Delighted to have had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Alpenhof. The experience was first class in every way; from the warm welcome at reception, the friendly bar tender and introduction to schnapps, the absolutely wonderful meals (more on that later), fabulous facilities and the lovely room. The highlights include the facilities and food. The spa is truly world class. I was surprised at the many options offered for relaxation: 3 saunas, 3 steams, pool, hot tub, and several relaxation rooms. I feel like the website undersells how fabulous and abundant the amenities are, especially the crystal steam which was amazing. In addition, I enjoyed several treatments in the spa including facials, massages, and treatments unique to the region. Highly recommend indulging in as many treatments as you can squeeze in between skiing, hiking and enjoying the outdoors. Now the food... having stayed at a neighbouring hotel twice, I was expecting bland, repetitive meals. Wow! Every dinner offered several options with many wine pairings. If you're able, absolutely book one of the tasting menus as you're in for a treat, on par with Benu in San Fran. To say the food is gourmet seems like a bit of an understatement. Their young chef Max is first rate; he brings creativity, freshness and art to every meal. You will be blown away! Can't wait to come back!…

A very nice and cozy hotel. Very friendly staff. If you are skiing, this hotel is an excelent place to stay since it has everything you need - clean and accessible ski room, frequent ski buss that takes you to gondola very quickly. Hotel is well eqiuped for variety of sports - we played billiards, table tennis and badminton in a sport hall! However, the ultimate reason for anybody to come into Alpenhof is gastronomy - each day we had a wonderfull experince from traditional breakfast to extraordinary dinners. Hope to come again! We have visited the family run Hotel Alpenhof in Hintertux for the seven time .... a couple of times as a couple, twice with our parents and once with the full family ... Again the experience turned into a refueling holiday, full of relaxation and enjoyment. The spacious room with view on the river and the gletsjer, the innovative kitchen with such a wide choice, the overwhelming wellness, and the relaxing atmosphere, even with a children during the school holidays. The Zillertal remains one of the most beautiful spots in Europe, with Hintertux offering you its fresh air. The wellness and the walks in the surrounding mountains made you enjoy every moment during our holidays. The chef and his team have even improved the style and taste of every dinner with a wide choice of local, world kitchen and vegetarian meals of supreme quality. The Gault&Millau menu was unforgettable ! My wife got ill at the end of a dinner, and the staff and the management took care of her as if it was someone of their own family. Thank you again Family Dengg and the team, we stayed in April and were not disappointed again! The welcome was great as Sarah, Katherina, Aurora and Stephanie recognised just straight away from last time and welcomed us as "old friends". The room was as expected from April's visit. The food was again outstanding with plenty of variation. My ten year old tried pretty well everything from the main menu rather than from the kids buffet and loved it, especially the fillet of beef with dauphinoise potatoes.... He said he could eat another one so the chef delivered it himself :-)
