Villa Lauri (4 Wine Hotel) is situated in Neive, one of the most spectacular medieval Langa villages. It is plunged into a beautiful landscape rich in colours, vineyards and castles. An accurate restoration transformed the elegant Liberty styled mansion house (dating from the end of the 19th century) into a small charming hotel. The twelve rooms are elegantly furnished and equipped with all comforts. Villa Lauri is the ideal place for romantic stays in the land of prestigious wines and excellent cuisine.

Hotel Villa Lauri is an oasis of tranquility and relaxation in the Langhe in Neive, from whose village is 5/10 minutes walk or you can take the car if you do not want to walk a little 'uphill.
It is run by the owner Patrizia and Stefano, two people of rare kindness and with a great willingness to customer requests and to give tourist information and advice to visit the area.
The structure is very beautiful, as well as the furnishings of the room which are solid wood with damask curtains, stone windowsills and complemented by spacious and well-kept bathrooms. Comfortable mattress and pillows promote a good rest.
We had the standard Barbera room with window and overlooking the hills and the old Neive. The room is well lit and equipped with air conditioning, TV (never used) and also a mini bar containing water, coke and other drinks.
The cabinets have an adequate capacity to hold what you bring with you.
There are enough electrical outlets to charge their devices and even have found a triple next to the bedside table, very convenient to turn on both the lamp and to charge the phone at the same time.
The wifi is present, is free and has good coverage.
Available all the set of towels, including pool towels, all in excellent soft fabric.
I also really enjoyed the courtesy set in the bathroom (bubble bath, shampoo, soap....) and the bedroom slippers.
The bathroom is windowed and spacious.
Everything is super clean and really well cared for.
Each room has its own marked parking, not covered, at the foot of the structure.
The property also has a rooftop pool with numerous sun loungers and deckchairs.
Breakfast is served on a pleasant terrace from 8am to 10am. The buffet, which is located inside, is very rich and complete with everything: from savory to sweet, there are eggs, cold cuts and local cheeses, various types of fresh bread, croissants of different flavors (cream, chocolate, jam, turmeric, papaya and mango, blackberries, empty...), butter, jam, Nutella, yogurt, cereals, dried and fresh fruit already cut and whole, vegetables, juice, water... I must have definitely forgotten something but there really is everything. Of course you can request coffee, tea, cappuccino...
For lunch and dinner you can go down to the Cantina del Rondò restaurant located below the hotel or in the village of Neive there are many valid alternatives to choose from.
From here you can easily and in a short time (half an hour) the main towns of the Langhe, such as La Morra, Serralunga, Monforte, Barolo etc.
If I return here, I would stay at this property again, which I strongly Recommendation for the geographical location, the beauty of the internal structure itself, the tranquility, cleanliness, kindness of the owners and fantastic breakfast.

Very pleasant stay with group of couples touring Barolo and Barbaresco regions. Staff were fantastic and extremely welcoming and able to accommodate reasonable requests. Stayed in superior room, room was spacious and comfortable with all the necessary amenities, clean and big bathroom. Breakfast was a nice continental spread with coffee & tea available from 8-10 AM. There is a restaurant adjacent with good food and service; make sure you get the 10% discount from the front desk. Building is a refurbished estate so the old architecture adds additional charm. Nice patio area with pool (seasonal), and 1 assigned parking spot per room. We would love to return!

Villa Lauri is located within walking distance of the center of Neive. From the swimming pool you have a beautiful view of the hills with the vines. Owner Patrizia is extremely friendly and, together with her staff, provides a great welcome, extremely clean rooms and a more than sufficiently varied breakfast. There is parking available at the hotel. Employee Stefano is an example of friendliness and helpfulness. I have rarely experienced someone being so forward-thinking as to want to be a guest. A big compliment to Stefano.

Bathroom dirty and mouldy. Very outdated. Supposed to have a swimming pool however it was more of a pond, tiny... Old bed... breakfast almost none existent . Views are beautiful and if people have some of the good wine prior to arrival they may somehow accept the misfortune of being in this hotel. Thought that due to Covid 19 the place would be at least clean... I was very disappointed with my stay there.

A traditional basic hotel, clean, tidy, good value and functional. Rooms a bit dated but plenty of space, comfy bed, good shower everything you would need. Breakfast average, the coffee was awful very un Italian! However served outside with great views from the patio.
The hotel is situated above a roundabout through which the traffic started at around 5am, because the hotel is slightly above the road the noise travelled up! Suggest a room on the pool side.

Very well-kept hotel with large rooms and a great view. Nice service and extensive breakfast buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking in front of the house, pool and terrace. It is more dignified compared to the hotels in the town center, but you are rewarded with more peace and quiet and a view of the surrounding vineyards.

Charming and heartily run 3* hotel with pool and loungers in an ideal location near Neive (10 minutes on foot). Rich, delicious breakfast (cheese, ham, sausage, fruit/yoghurt, sweets).
Simple, clean rooms, free parking.
Grazie mille - we'll be back

Had a wonderful two nights stay here. Room was nice and we enjoyed the pool and surrounding area.
Breakfast was fine, nice to sit outside on the terrace.
The owner and staff were so helpful and friendly, including booking us on a private wine tour.

As a couple with my girlfriend we had a really good time in this hotel overlooking the Langhe vineyards, large rooms, beautiful pool area and relaxed environment. The kindness of the staff was truly surprising, a wonderful experience. Note of merit also for the location close to the village of Neive.
