Convenient for the airport, friendly staff, free parking, next door supermarket, breakfast is so so with limited selection. Room was comfort. Online booking was cheaper than on site rate, but then they can match the online price if you show them the discounted deal.
Booked this hotel online. I travelled by car and the hotel is a short drive to Malpensa airport. It is easy to find and there was much parking available. I found Oleggio itself to quite interesting and there were a few cafes and restaurants around the main square. There is a large supermarket just a few doors down from the hotel. Overall the hotel was excellent. I would stay here again, no problem.
I live in US. My Cousins in Oleggio. They own an upscale business. I asked them to book a room for us. Hotel Oleggio was where they put us...it was 1st choice. Everything was fine. I will stay there again on next trip
We didn't have high expectations when we pulled in here after having reserved on Expedia. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! Check-in was quick and easy, and we were prepaid. Getting a lot of luggage upstairs was easy. They will tell you it's possible to drive around to the back and load your luggage right into the elevator. Too easy. The room was not fancy, but we didn't need fancy. It was spotlessly clean, with new clean towels, plenty of hot water, and a comfortable bed. Perfect for our night before a very early departure from Malpensa. Couple of things.... Get gas early. In the evening, we, as well as about 10 other people, were unable to make the pumps at the gas station across the street work. Driving around town, we found other stations, but not one would work at night, though they appeared to be setup for off-hours use. Same again early in the morning. No place to get gas at 7am. NOWHERE from here to the airport, so had to deliver the car as-is and pay the consequences. Perhaps a later departure would have made refueling easier, but that was not the case for us. The hotel does not list hours for the restaurant. Don't count on it being open. There are lots of other places you can go, and there is a Coop supermarket practically right next store. Check their hours. Breakfast was included, but we knew we'd be up and out early, probably too early. We were, indeed quite early, but breakfast was already set, and they let us sit down and eat. It's self-service, except that they will make you coffee drinks. Hot food, too! Wonderful. Overall this was a perfect hotel for the purpose. No luxury here, just perfection in the basics. One other thing: we paid Expedia around $51, which was cheap. When we checked out we were handed a receipt for 39 euros. Maybe better to book directly with the hotel.…
I am extremely upset with the service and misleading information provided by the hotel. Despite the hotel's main description stating, "Pet-friendly Oleggio hotel with restaurant, connected to the airport," the hotel is in fact 18 minutes drive from the airport, costing me 45 euro taxi to get there and 30 back with the shuttle. I tried to call to book a shuttle once I realized that the hotel was not actually connected to the airport, but the long process to do so (including emailing the hotel with all the flight info, etc. then waiting for a response and confirmation of the booking) was unrealistic to wait for and I was weary of getting a shuttle in decent time (which is why I had to get the taxi on the way there). Had I known this information, of course, I would have booked a closer hotel. There were many nicer branded hotels with more amenities that would have cost me the same amount of money, considering the additional fee to get to this hotel. Additionally, the restaurant does not open for dinner until 7:30 p.m., which again, for a hotel airport that could be receiving people from different areas, is quite inconvenient, particularly considering the hotel it is virtually in the middle of nowhere. When I requested some type of compensation or consideration for the misleading information, I was not given any. Room was fine with good sized bed, though it smelled like B.O. Thankfully I was able to open a window to air it out, though there were some mosquitoes that came into the room in affect, but worth it to get rid of the smell and lack of air circulation. I travel to Italy frequently for work and have never had this poor of an experience staying at any of the hotels, b&bs or other accommodations I have stayed at. The only good thing is the wifi works and the place seems clean, so I can at least get some work done.…
Quaint and quiet hotel. Grocery, petrol station and other shops. It was not busy at all on our stay, save for a couple who was drinking in the small restaurant. In my experience, this is quite a steal for the price, but should be good for an overnight stay to catch an early morning flight. Clean, that is most important.
I find hotel in booking.com. I really liked hotel. Hotel is very close to Malpensa airport why i choose it. The rooms are very clean and It has new furnitures. Location is very nice. Hotel has very nice balcony for relax. Hotel Staff are very nice and helpfull. Free wifi is good. Only i can say breakfast is nit good. They din’t have a lot choose. TV programs are mainly Italian that not good for non Itailan people. Hotel is located a small town which is name Oleggio. It is a beatiful town. There is nice pizza and ice cream shops you can taste.
Because of my job, I often come to Oleggio and always stay at hotel Oleggio. Very friendly staff, the whole building and all rooms have been recently renovated, nice breakfast/restaurant area, serving good meals and very competitive rates. Definitely recommended for all kind of visitors
Didn't really stay at this hotel because cancelled my booking even before going given the prices of the shuttle, so can't opine on the quality of the accommodation itself. However the shuttle to the airportcosts 30 Euros each way (average, depends on the terminal and the time of the day), which is way above average for other hotels in the Malpensa area. As a consequence, the tariff for the stay may be cheap but on the other hand if you need a shuttle and spend a bit more at another hotel you'll end up saving money. May be recommended if you have your own car, but otherwise beware of this absurd shuttle fee.
Newly hotel, friendly reception. Lobby limited. Rooms good and clean. Breakfast limited but good. Parking spaces available. Cost for room very low compared to milano. We will be back not a lot to do nearby, so car needed
