We spent New Years there for a quick getaway to the country, and it provided us with exactly what we were looking for; peacefulness, tranquility and a piece of history. They were very accommodating, and the staff friendly! Everything was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious! Thank you Tanglewood for a relaxing time! We'll be back again!

Lovely homely stay- enjoyed the food, just a little concerned with security as there is none?? Would be great to have a TV in the room- but all very good. Breakfast fabulous and great value for money.

On arrival we were greeted by Nicky and her fantastic team. My room was tastefully decorated, and really comfortable. Tanglewood has a great family feel to it, which makes it home away from home. The bar certainly gets really festive with the guests as well as the local farmers popping to say hi. The food is absolutely outstanding with amazing...
