It is a hotel with an excellent price for being part of Barcelona, that is why I took it as an alternative since I did not find anything at a good price in the center of Barcelona. I rate it as a normal hotel, good cleanliness, good spaces in the bedroom and bathroom, the negative is that its location is designed to arrive and leave by car, if you arrive from the airport without a car you should consider at least 2 hours, the R2 Nord train more A local bus allows you to get to the hotel, it can take you around an hour to the center of Barcelona, with the transport card it is very easy and economical, the distance is the "cost" of having a hotel at a much lower price than in the center of Barcelona. There are 2 train lines and express buses that allow you to connect with the center of Barcelona, therefore distance, although it is an issue when you are traveling, if you want to save on accommodation, being far from the center is an option. Other details to improve are the fact that the internet connection they offer is not private, therefore it is not totally secure, they do not have USB plugs, only an electric plug in the room. The air conditioning is noisy and seems not to be very efficient, however the room has good soundproofing with double windows, there is no outside noise. Finally, if you are hungry, thirsty or want to eat something, there are 2 supermarkets next to the hotel.

The Ibis Barcelona Mollet has very clean rooms with air conditioning and flat-screen TVs. All rooms have double glazing due to the nearby motorway and are soundproofed. There was nothing to complain about the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. Everything was very clean. Shower gel and other care products were also available. The bed was also very clean and comfortable; also very large. Great! The rooms can only be entered with a key card and are therefore very secure. The staff was very nice and friendly; they also speak several languages. 24-hour reception. Credit card payment was also possible. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Very clean and nice breakfast and lounge area. Various board games such as table football were also available. The Ibis also has a bar that serves various drinks and food. There was also nice seating outside in front of the building. The amenities of this Ibis hotel include a free underground car park and two elevators. The building is 100% wheelchair accessible. Even the outside entrance is level - without any stairs. Sights, city center, museums, churches, restaurants and cafes in Barcelona cannot be reached on foot. However, you can walk to the train station and take the S-Bahn from there. Very good long-distance connections. A gas station as well as various supermarkets and a few small restaurants are next door or just around the corner. The highway runs directly opposite. However, you cannot hear any street noise in the rooms when the windows are closed. The hotel has soundproof double glazing. I have stayed in this hotel several times and would book online here again on my next stay. Highly recommended hotel.

Tuesday Oct 17, 2023 - 6:00 p.m. Called for reservation at the Ibis hotel in Mollet del Valles. The receptionist was unable to speak either English or French and advised me to send them an e-mail to confirm, no luck: hotel full although the receptionist told me they had availability, probably no Did she understand nothing of my request? Called back 10 minutes later, I was completely thrown out by another receptionist, also in Spanish exclusively! I have been a regular customer of this hotel for 10 years...I have not spared my satisfaction on the websites (especially on Booking.com), I imagine that this is an occasional incident?

The advantage of Ibis is that you usually get what you expect. Small, practical but boring rooms. Decent breakfast. Clean rooms. The room was very cold, though.
On the one hand, it's nice to have a hotel bar, but it wasn't inviting for a longer stay.
Good for a business trip. Not really suitable for families.

What a superb hotel.
Outside the expense of Barcelona City but excellent public transport links.
I am picky, I know that, but I am actually at a loss to.find anything wrong at all. Coulsnt even trip them up with fluff in the extractor fan!
Shampoo and shower gel provided. The breakfast was a real treat. The gin and tonic was a perfect way to end the day. We don't often repeat visit, bit we will be back next year.

I chose it due to convenient location. It is a standard Ibis hotel, with rooms on the smallish size (no fridge, no coffee/tea machine or kettle, no safe box) but decent and clean. The bed was comfortable. Adjacent bathroom was clean, with just basic toiletries as expectable in 2-star hotels. The breakfast was very good, with local dishes too. The staff was professional and helpful.

It is next to a (very busy) motorway, convenient by car to reach Barcelona city. Very inconvenient however with public transport.
Very advantageous rate for the area which gives you a spacious, modern and very clean room. Comfort ensured by a double window.
Highly recommended for those who don't need to stay in the city (and have a car)

Upon arrival we were well received by the guys at reception. Kind and helpful.
The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, but the pillow was not.
The bathroom was clean, the room was made up every morning.
Importantly, they accept dogs. Not just the small ones. We had a greyhound.

Nice friendly & good value hotel. Dog friendly and good breakfast, good location just off the road for our drive south. Enjoyed everything about the hotel with 1 exception, we travelled with a roof box on the car and therefore could not get into the hotel car park. Parking in the town is a nightmare took over 20 minutes to find a space and then a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

I just came back from an otherwise wonderful Mediterranean Tour. Except for the trip to Hotel Ibis Barcelona Mollet.
While we were at the reception desk, there were a bunch of thieves lying in wait at the hotel lobby. One of the guests in our group went to the receptionist to check in. Right after he finished, he turned around and noticed that his suitcase was gone. At the same time, several people in the lobby - who in retrospect seemed highly suspicious - had disappeared.
The Hotel refused to refund the guests for the loss of the suitcase. The Hotel also refused to share a copy of the video footage. The Hotel was completely unsympathetic to the guest who got his luggage stolen and claimed that they had no responsibility whatsoever.
So beware and be especially careful.

the cheapest way to get Barcelona from the Hotel is by train. This one is 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel and then is just 25 minutes until Catalunya square.
