Warm welcome by Ruth one of the owners. Showed us all we needed to know. You have the freedom of the place, your own gate keys to come and go as you please. Bright room overlooking the pool, furnished very simply but comfortable, modern clean bathroom, plenty of hot water and towels including pool towels. Ample and varied breakfast in...

Hotel Casamarilla is a lovely colonial style house set in the middle of a banana plantation off the beaten track. Carlos, the owner was welcoming and helpful. We were given keys to all areas and an explanation of what's available in the area etc. Lovely breakfast with plenty to choose from. Free tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes available 24/7. Two...

Very relaxing by the pool. Nice to have water, wine, kettle available 24/7. Good breakfast. Easy walk to dinner in town. Room was a great value. Wish we had planned more than 1 night and avoided the parador for two nights here instead.

We stayed on 2 different sides on Tenerife, and loved this place the best. It had a wonderful breakfast, with eggs cooked to order, and very good WiFi. It is in the midst of a banana plantation, which made it very quiet and peaceful. The room was large and comfortable, although very dark even with all the lights on. Good...

What a nice way of treating clients! I made a booking reservation several weeks in advance. A few days before my arrival the hotel canceled my reservation and gave it to another person who was staying longer! Booking contacted me to let me know and helped to find another accomodation ! The hotel never contacted me !

What a fantastic place. It's like travelling back in time to an old colonial house on a banana plantation. The owners Ruth and Carlos are wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a fantastic mix of antiques, charm and beautiful plants everywhere. The swimming pool area is very nice and spotlessly clean. The rooms are fashioned traditionally but with...

We loved this place. Very coszy and good service. Although the swimmingpool is note heated, so to cold in january to swim! But 20°C is lovely to discover the beatifull area and there are many small citys around. The National Park " El Teide" is only a short drive away and super trekkings in the park are very well put...

We were shocked how wonderful this place was. Firstly, we were there absolutely alone - mostly during the day. And only one night we shared this place with another nice couple. The hosts just give you the key and some advice and serve for you a really nice breakfast. That's all - the place is yours for the next few...

Have stayed in this lovely Rural Hotel 3 times now and it is our favourite place to go when we want to getaway for a fews days. Surrounded by banana plantations all around it is just so peaceful and quiet, but yet just a short walk from bars and restaurants if you want them and a 5 minute drive to...

I recommend this but this part of the island can be windy and cloudy when the south is warm and sunny as we found. Good points - Lovely character place with tall ceilings and colonial feel, nice lounge area for guest - Kettle with tea and coffee for guest, hurrah someone has sussed us Brits out unlike most places on...
