We have stayed at several Wolsey Lodges, and they are all amazing. Church Farm House totally lived up to all our expectations for the four nights we were guests. Dick and Georgia are first class hosts with an outstanding property that they love and cherish. We can highly recommended dining with the hosts, we thoroughly enjoyed the food, the wine, the ambiance, and the conversations with such lovely and interesting people. We were made totally welcome and thoroughly enjoyed their company, with plenty of interesting “life stories”. The cottage has so much history, quaint and very interesting. Dick has a passion for antique clocks. The gardens are outstanding, such beautiful plants and colour. Benson the dog made us very welcome too – loved him. Georgia made some great suggestions for pubs in the area, and we visited a few National Trust properties. We highly recommend a stay with his lovely couple in their outstanding home

What an amazing place! We had an overnight stay, as we had a family birthday barbecue in the area…and wished we could have stayed longer. Dickie and Georgia could not have been more welcoming, if they tried. Nothing was too much trouble and their home was immaculately clean and so beautifully manicured that it was an absolute joy and such a fabulous experience, to be able to stay in. Not only are they extremely welcoming, but they are well travelled, have exquisite taste, both are great cooks, and both have entertaining stories to relate!! The rooms are Very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. We would, and will, recommend this stunning home to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy their beautifully maintained gardens, and home, which is set in lovely countryside. They have anticipated every need and catered for their guests with superb care to detail. They made our stay very special.

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of you and thank you for all the positive comments. Both of us, and Benson the dog as well, couldn't ask for better guests. Please do come back!

What an amazing place to stay, felt so relaxed and welcomed into their home. Lovely charming couple, run this little gem of a B&B. Beautiful gardens to chill in after a busy day, home made bread as part of the breakfast was divine. Thank you for a lovely stay, and what a sweet dog you have, who was also very welcoming.

We have just returned from 4 nights stay at this glorious house in the middle of the village of North Lopham. It is fair to say that the photos of this property and the grounds do not do it justice. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated and the grounds clearly demand and receive a high degree of care. Georgia and Dick are excellent hosts and we were made to feel most welcome in their home by them and Bonnie the dog. Nothing is too much trouble and there is a high degree of attention to detail. We stayed for dinner for 3 out of the four nights we were there and the food and accompanying wines were of a very high standard. Breakfasts were also delicious and so ample we rarely needed lunch! I can recommend Church Farm House wholeheartedly and I am sure that we will return!

We had a wonderful stay with Georgia and Dick. The house was comfortable, well furnished, historic and quaint yet possessed all modern conveniences. The hosts were extremely friendly and kind and really tried to do all they could to please. Prior to our visit, they inquired about our food preferences. They prepared a gourmet quality dinner incorporating our favorites, a scallop appetizer, seared duck breast in a tasty sauce, and a delicious cake. In addition, we had three different fine wines, one before dinner, and two with dinner. They only charge a minimal fixed price of 9 pounds each for the wine with dinner, a true bargain. This was a very pleasant stay, among the very best I have experienced in an English B and B.

On arrival we had our usual very warm welcome. We sat out in the garden which was looking very colourful and pretty .We then enjoyed a lovely pot of tea with Georgia's homemade poppyseed cake . We then went out to return later ,they had the chiminea going outside and we sat outside enjoying a glass of wine and chatting until late .After a good nights sleep in our very comfy beds we came down to a very tasty breakfast in the conservatory.Look forward to staying with them again soon.We would not hesitate to recommend Church Farm House as we love it here .

You will be welcomed like family by Dick and Georgia to their beautiful, historic farm house. The hospitality was first rate as we enjoyed delicious meals and good conversation in their sixteenth century home, which is surrounded by a lovingly attended garden and hedge. Each room in the house has a unique character and the whole experience allows you to slow down and relax, to soak in the beauty of the surroundings. As if this weren't enough, the farm house sits across the road from an even older picturesque church. We'll be back!

From arrival too departure, it was a 5 star experience. Dick and Georgia were the nicest people we have met and Bonnie the dog was so cute. We had a marvellous meal on our first night which was better than restaurant class with plenty of quality wines and great company. Breakfast every morning was the best and set us up all day as we went to Snetterton for the motorcycle racing and visits to Norwich town centre and Lowestoft beach. Beautiful gardens and house, have nothing negative to say, you will not be disappointed. Thank you

Church Farmhouse is the beautiful home of Dick and Georgia Bassett. We were greeted with afternoon tea in their wonderful garden. Later we relaxed in the lounge surrounded by the ticking of Dick's collection of antique clocks. But the best was yet to come. We arrived down for dinner to be greeted with cocktails, canapés and nibbles before enjoying the most magnificent meal with matching wines. Dick and Georgia are the most wonderful hosts and they joined us for dinner and entertained us with tales from their extensive worldwide travels. Their hosting is effortless, unobtrusive and they make you as welcome as thought one of the family. This is truly a wonderful accomodation with bed, breakfast and evening meal which is not to be missed

We really enjoyed our stay at Church Farm House which is set in an idyllic Norfolk village opposite a historic church. Dick and Georgia are wonderful hosts and friends and we particularly enjoyed dining with them and hearing stories about the many places they have travelled to. The food served at Church Farm House is fantastic. We really enjoyed the breakfast sausages which were made from local pork with Dick and Georgia's own seasoning. The house itself is quiet, spacious, clean and decorated impeccably and we slept really well in the ensuite 'Rossini' bedroom. The garden is extremely beautiful. We highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon.
