This hotel is in the jungle and claims to be environmentally friendly. They have regular parties with such loud music it disturbs people for many kilometers. Scares the monkeys and other wildlife away too. Terrible.

Just got back from an absolutely amazing vacation at the Mar y Selva Ecolodge! We had a large group and plenty of space. The bungalows were all clean and well maintained. My AC worked so well that I had to turn it off at times. The pool was a great way to be welcomed to the lodge. Our staff are...

We stayed for a week with a group of 28. Gabriel and his staff were incredible. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and the staff kept the entire place that way. I highly recommend staying here with a group. Breakfast was ready every morning according to the time we were going on tours. They were extremely accommodating and helped...

I truly enjoyed staying at this resort. The staff is fantastic. They were attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire trip. The views are fantastic and being surrounded by the rain forest was magical.

We had a group of 28 there in early June. This is a very nice area with a stunning view of the water , you can hike the grounds for a lot of wonderful pictures of plants , flowers, and animals. Gabriel and the rest of the staff did an amazing job of taking care of all of us.

We were ever so disappointed in room #9. This bungalow hasn't been updated for years! The shower was terrible. Water from the shower head squirted all over, the toilet leaked, the toilet handle was broken, bugs in the window sills, sliding glass door was dirty, no glasses or cups. Needs painting & total update for the terrible price they made...

I’ve stayed here twice in the last two years....once to learn to surf, and once to bring others to learn! The beaches in Uvita are perfect for surfers of all levels. So, the hotel: the location makes it wonderful. I’ve stayed at places by the beach, but there’s lots of highway noise, and much hotter. Mar y Selva is about...

We found this wonderful secluded Eco Lodge when looking for a place to stay along the Pacific coast for a couple of nights before heading to the Osa Peninsula. It is a wonderful gem hidden off the main highway by about a mile into the forest but still has wonderful views and is far enough away from the highway so...
