Myself, partner and friends were looking for a pub meal one evening whilst staying in the area and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We were expecting the usual 'Pub Grub' but got something more, three of us ordered the classic burger which was immense! It cane out and our jaws dropped it was beautifully presented, the... More

My family stopped here for lunch on the way to our holiday destination. Very good fish and chips (the chips were not frozen). One of the best fish and chips I have ever had. Staff friendly and offered our two dogs a bowl of water.

Valentines day, huh! Production line! Was rushed, won't go there again! Got there at 6.30 pm as booked after Christmas, not given anywhere to hang coat, put on back of chair, inevitably it fell off. Was rushed looking at menu and dessert menu after going to ladies after main meal, obvious I had only just got back to seat a... More

As there were 2 adults and 3 children, the room allocated was well ample and actually had room for a travel cot, management and staff very friendly and we could not fault the breakfast, we are planning a return trip in December 2013

Stayed two nights in the bungalow. Basic but all you need to put your head down and what more do you need than a pub attached. Fantastic hosts, Jim and Hayley will go out of their way to make your stay a pleasure. All meals can be supplied but the full english breakfast was one to remember. The best bit... More
